    Clint to Celtic

There is a rumour that Larsson is heading to Spain. I think Mathis has what it takes to play in Scotland. Celtic would offer all that stuff a player would like; Uefa or more, large crowds and $$$. Wahdaya think?

There is no rumour of larsson leaving for spain, the man himself said he would like to play in spain at the end of his contract, there is a year left to run and then hes offski, hes stated this since he signed it.

At least he'd look slimmer standing next to Viduka.

I could see him at Bolton, better.

The rumor is that Clint wants to play for Wolverhampton since they have Doritos as their shirt sponsor.

The obvious rumor is ManU. I mean, all the other Americans seem to be heading that way...
Or, better yet, Clint to Reading...

If I am elected the new president of FC Barcelona on June 15th, I will bring in the following players:

    Clint
    DmB
    JOB

and then I will convert Agoos to forward as a super sub, insert him at the end of games, when we desperately need an equalizer, and tell him to defend the opposing teams goal with all the vigor he can muster...can't go wrong.

    Tommy on Clint

...yes - from his chat yesterday (June 2) at ESPN.com:

Tommy Smyth: I wouldn't think there would be any problem as far as the National team goes if he keeps scoring goals like he is right now. Clint is on a rare streak. If he can transfer that to National team level, he would be very much a part of World Cup qualifying. Funny, the rumors about him going to Europe all seem to have gone quiet. It looks to me like what happened at the last WC, plus the fact that the economic situation is so differnet nowadays, that he may not recieve an offer in the immediate future. Some rumors were suggesting that perhaps Martin O'Neil might want him for Celtic, which wouldn't be a bad move at all. But I guess for Clint it is just wait and see, and keep scoring goals.

...and since this thread began on June 1, we know which rumors Tommy meant!
