I think the team nickname should be "The Wingers". Here is why.

Obviously, the crest has an angel's wings and looks sharp.

However, most people want to avoid the name angels (which would be problematic anyway) because it's not "tough enough" and is used officially by the baseball team.

No problem.

Why not The Wingers?

It would symbolize the emphasis on attacking soccer, embodying the spirit of "The Beautiful Game".
