The vuvuzelas will soon rule the world. Mark my words.

    As for the winners,

    Uruguay
    Usa
    England
    Argentina

    Netherlands
    Brazil
    Paraguay
    Spain

This is going to get VERY good. Its funny how argentina have a virtually free pass to the final.

England have it in them to win it, but will we see it? Will we see what makes some of the players on the squad the best in the world? Who knows, but I hope it's one hell of a match.

In the meantime, let's go USA.

    NO.

If they manage to reach the finals, it will be a great achievement. Their path to the final is frightening.

The USA would look so much better if they used a 4-2-3-1, with an attacking mid right in front of the two holding mids. Can Bradley not realize that the supporting strikers he has used have been useless?

Robbie Findlay? I admit I don't watch almost any MLS so don't know what he's like there, but given how much of a headless chicken is, he may as well play for South Korea.

Speaking of Korea, I'm surprised that the North Korean coach didn't try to defect after realizing he had been beaten 7-0 on the world stage. I hope Dear Leader hasn't killed him for that performance.

Which attacking mid would you suggest? Only one clever enough to play the enganche rule is Adu and he was never a Bradley favorite (and obviously not at the tournament). Donovan's pace is best utilized out wide. Feilhaber perhaps? Anyway, the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. The 4-2-2-2 with the big striker/speedy striker tandem worked really, really well in the confed cup...and has worked pretty well so far in this competition. But you're right..neither Gomez or Findley hold a candle to Davies.

What crap defending, and amazingly enough keeping for the first goal. Unbelievable.

Having 2 men in the center and forcing your two best players (Lando and Dempsey) to help them out has been a detriment this entire WC.

Altidore needs to realize that he isn't going to be the one to dribble through three defenders, get a brain Jozy.

Torres. He's one of the more technical players on the team, looks comfortable on the ball, and if given the freedom that two defensive mids would allow him I think he'd shine. At the moment there is no link between the midfield and the strikers, and there hasn't been since the beginning of the WC.

The Ghanian is in Greece right?
