    I'm a Galaxy season ticket holder. :(

    Be swift.

  2. I'm sure you're going to support the visitors from MLS, aren't you?

There's no problem in buying season tix for an opposing team. I'd love to buy season tix for the Rotmasters to swipe a few beers from the tailgate and than root against them every game.

Sold your soul? Hell, you've made one step towards having one!

Soon you will learn to give up your connections to whatever hellhole from whence you came to pollute SoCal and you will become one of us. Eventually, you stop bitching about there's no place to get good pizza and you'll fall in love with Uncle Phil's favorite team. Soon you will be at peace.

    p.s. BWAAAA-HAAAA-HAAA!!!!!

Haven't heard from our former resident cowman, Jeff Van Hoy.

Talk to him. See if he's switched sides after these last couple years, or if he's still bleeding red and not...

When you've gone that far off the deep end (as to be Rivalries Forum fodder such as he was) then there is no hope...

Oh, I've already done that. But I will always have my Bears and my Fire.

As for LA, don't be dragging us San Diegans down by lumping us with you. I'll drive up for the games, but then I'll get right back in my car and head back HOME.

So long as you don't show up at their matches wearing a Cobi Jones replica shirt, your soul's intact, and your own.

I have a friend who works for AEG, so I thankfully do not have to pay for my Galaxy tickets. As much as I enjoy soccer, I cannot see giving any money to this franchise, especially after being assaulted with beer, pennies and trash, and having some soccer mom grab me at the first Fire-LA playoff game way back when (Firegirl, this is why I do not wear my Fire colors to games anymore).

I do, however, cheer loudly against the Gals. whenever I am there, which irks my firend as we are sitting in the AEG corporate seats. Oh well, 1/2 the league is owned by AEG so 1/2 the time I am supporting one of their teams anyway.

Since you're not a native San Diegan, I suppose I can let it slide...in the interest of MLS. ;-)

I'll be taking in a couple games up there myself, but I could never get season tix even if I wanted to...ball 'n chain ya know...

Will I be risking physical harm when I wear my DCU jersey to the match on 9/20???

If you are at Victoria Street, yes.

Anywhere on Victoria Street, or just inside the Home Depot National Training Center?

Well... technically, Carson is in South Central (gasp!)... so normally, physical harm would be a part of the landscape. Unfortunately, this particular part of Carson is surrounded by miles of Trailer Parks. It's a bit of a culture clash...

Nevertheless, there's respect for Fire fans. They'll only be harrassed. A DC United fan? You'd better call Kevorkian for an easier death if you are anywhere on Victoria Street (or the crosstreet Avalon).

But I mean that in a nice way.
