    could it be the U-23s playing this?

    Its probably the U-23's. It definitely isn't the Senior Team.

    The information you have is completely wrong. I don't think the United States has ever played in the Carlsberg Cup, which takes place annually at the beginning of Chinese New Year in Hong Kong.

    The Hong Kong League XI plays Uruguay & Denmark play Iran on February 1st, while the winners play in the final (and the losers in the third place game) on February 4th.

    The USMNT(Mission Viejo team) played in the 1994 tournament..... they finished 4th behind Romania who was in the same World Cup group as the US 6 months later.

    The US team is not part of this year's Carlsburg Cup.... no Korea as well.

    The US is not participating this time. Kevin is right about the teams. Denmark is sending a league select team instead of its official national team. I think Iran will take this cup.
