I think it would be useful to be able to get to subfora without navigating back to main menu. I also think back links on the bottom as well as the top would be useful. And of course would love a personalizable mobile page - like mybigsoccer - but don't know if that's feasible. Sending a personal message seemed confusing although I didn't try very hard.
We believe we have fixed the iphone viewing issues in regular mode. We will now take the beta iphone skin offline while we complete its development. We are thinking of making the new iphone skin a feature of the BSSC but haven't decided.
I can confirm that on my iPhone the website now renders without any problems. If you need any more help testing the iPhone skin feel free to shot me a PM. Also I think you should make the skin free and available to all. The site is quite clunky and slow on my phone, even when connected to WiFi.
I am still unable to get BigSoccer to render properly on my iPhone. I get the top of the page and nothing else.
Yeah, excellent idea. Since iPhone is rapidly becoming the smartphone and mobile web browser of choice, and more and more people are becoming soccer fans, it would be an excellent plan to keep it painful for iPhone users to use this site. I mean, navigating the regular BigSoccer site on an iPhone is very difficult, which is great to make sure we keep people away. Also, just because many other sites are providing iPhone-centric versions of their sites, doesn't mean we should just jump on the bandwagon without making sure we get some cash out of people first.
I am starting to have the issues of having to rotate the screen and the rotate it back to get the text to show up..
This would be awesome. Not so sure about paying for it as I already pay but a $0.99 pricetag might be reasonable.
Well Im having a problem on the Madrid board and when I shamefully have to visit the Barcelona NSR thread
Yes. The header loads on all pages, but the pages themselves only load with the ol' flip-flip-rotate technique. After the flip, the pages load to the top of the page, not to 'first unread post.'
Yes! I wish there was better support for mobile devices. The current PDA/mobile version is a pain since it strips links and images. Huss, check out http://m.crackberry.com/ and then click the " Enter CrackBerry Forums" link for an example of a good mobile-friendly forum. You can even post replies in threads.
