for the player who should have his leg broken by the Metro in retaliation for that pussy Allegra's ************ tackle from behind on Mathis that got Mathis sent off. If the Metro have any balls at all, someone from that shitscum Club DC, will pay the price for their cheapshot fouling and womanly play. Then someone has to drill a freekick straight into Stott's balls, assuming he has some -- that ************.
No, I'm not on his list. Sometimes when a ref so horribly mismanages a match someone has to step up and straighten things out. Ideally, it's the coach who takes his red but draws League attention to clear reffing incompetence. If the coach hasn't the gumption to do it, then the players have to. Tonight, neither did and so Stott was allowed to have his pathetic way without even for a moment reflecting on the kind of job he was doing.
And blow any chance for the playoffs in the process? Too bad for Stott he doesn't have the benefit of slow-motion replay from 5 different angles. Too bad for you that you can't watch a game without partisianship blinding you. Some refs wouldn't have called anything, nut many would have pulled out a card. Was it the worst crime in soccer history? Not even close. The fact is, Metro didn't play a great game, it was frustrating to watch. However, anything's possible in wet conditions, they still could have won the game (Although the subsitutions lowered their chance). Nobody likes to see his team blow games and not make the playoffs...unfortunately, Stott didn't referee all of our games this year, he's not to blame for the piss poor perfomances. On a final note, with so much talk about OZ (I agree that he must go, if you'd like to know), it seems like Metro play like 11 (many times 10) tinmen. No heart.
argghh..... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!1 Clearly I'm not myself to-night... I'm posting all over the place... I think that we could have put a suit on a cinderblock and left it at the bench and it would have done a better job coaching the Metro than OZ did... Ray Hudson's tactics clearly outclassed us and he's only coaching THE WORSE TEAM IN THE LEAGUE (it's reassuring that I can still say that although I know we're really the worst...) The 2-4-3 lineup was much smarter than ours... leaving midfielders pretty much everywere to dominate posession and prevent us from making plays... How many times can OZ expect our poor hearts to withstand the sight of a Metro player making a valiant run up the field only to be set on by four men and with no one to help him....? CAN'T BLOODY STAND IT!!!
Should have got him while you could Ghost. Next year Ben will be healthy and none of your defenders will be able to catch him.
HA! After the World Cup I wouldn't have guessed Bill could have made a bigger ass of himself than he already has, but then records are made to be broken, yes?
Re: argghh..... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!1 This is not meant to deffend OZ at all, but Ray Hudson, like his predecessor, has done an incredibly poor job managing what should be, talent wise, the best team in this league. Any suggestion otherwise is likely blind anglophilia to the nth degree.
Re: Re: argghh..... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!1 I'm the last person in the WORLD you could ever accuse of anglophilia... I know Hudson is crap... but my point was that even he outclassed OZ... You saw him in his pregame interview in the DC locker-room? We still have a chance to stick it to the MetroStars and ruin their season, he said. His eyes bulged... his tongue seemed to swell ... what a reptile...
