Hello! I'm a soccer fan from Canada, and since i'll finally be old enough to possibly go see a World Cup game, i'm really interested in flying overseas in 2006 to watch an England game, and see my idol play...(yep, u guessed it, David Beckham) and simply finally be able to experience an actual national soccer game. It would be amazing! I was just wondering if anyone knew how much tickets usually are to World Cup games...any websites that i've went to i just got lost with the currency. Does anyone know what is would cost for a ticket, sitting anywhere, in Canadian currency or American currency? As well as how far in advance they sell the tickets, and where u can purchase them.

If anyone knows ANY of this info, could you please post a reply, or e-mail me at soccer_sweetie444@hotmail.com
    Thank you very VERY much!

just fyi, i don't believe that the ticket lottery even begins until feb 2005....so, there shouldn't be any tix for sale right now. just go to fifaworldcup.com and dig around for press releases regarding tix.

    ...................................................................................

Just sit tight end enjoy those fine canadian honeys!!lol
There are still 2 years left until the 96 WC,lets make sure we're all still alive and the competition is not cancelled for one reason or onother!!

As the guy before me told you,the tickets will not go on sale until late 2005! Nobody can tell you how much the tickets will cost and in what currency(most likely they will be in euros, the european curency). I sugest you try to have a clean credit card next year ,with at least $3000 balance on it when they sellthe tickets, keep your eyes open on package deals from travel agencies, that will include everything, including the airfare and hotel and, maybe ,even some game tickets! Its obvious that you will not be able to watch all the games in all 8 cities, so you better know in advance which team you like the most and make sure it qualified first!!
So, if England doesn't qualify and maybe David Beckham will not play or retire by then, you will need a back-up team and player!! lol

    Good luck to you!
