I can't find a close up picture of the YM jersey with the 10th Anniversary across the front. (H & A) I figured this is the place to look. Please make it close up. Thanks guys.

And if anybody is REALLY dedicated, they could rate the line-up of YM in Speed, Shot, Controll, Heading, tackling, or GK skill from 1-7. (7 being the highest)

I don't even expect this, but it's worth my time to ask.

Does anybody have a picture where I can see what the J-League Captain Band looks like? I really appreciate all of your help!

This seems to be the $64,000 question. I have yet to find a non-Japanese site that sells current J-League jerseys. Maybe if one of us visits Japan, we can all send them money and he'll go shopping for us?

I volunteer to do this if you also buy my plane ticket. :D

I think it's time for you to become re-aquainted with your Japanese side.

You've been away too long and the clean American air and the typical New Yawrker accent is subconsciously bugging you. You miss the musky air that you smell once you step into the grounds of Narita and you miss bustling streets, the sight of Skylines, and hot Japanese women with orange dyed hair, 50 inch heels, and thigh high skirts with messed up teeth. You miss civilization and you know that the United States does not fulfill you. You miss life. You miss Japan.

Now take a look at your credit card. Go to JAL.com and get yourself a plane ticket. Do not forget to remind yourself to tell us your bank account number and all that. Now- go get me my Yokohama shirt. I command you.

    Urawa Reds

When my pops went to Japan he got me a Urawa Reds jersey.

It cost $110 and it is worth every penny.

Other than a Velez Sarsfield (Argentina) jersey, also made by Puma, I saw a few years back, I have never found a better quality kit.

I guess Japanese really are particular about detail. All the power to them! Sure beats the horrendous MetroStars jerseys I am subject too every other week at the Swamp.

I would also get the Marinos jersey, but I have a soft spot for the other team in Yokohama. The Flugels jersey also was $110 and my dad wasn't willing to spoil his son.

Whoa whoa whoa. As a native New Yorker, I must defend the city. Sure he lives in Queens, but Astoria ain't exactly the quietest idea of suburbia ever. Plus he works in Manhattan (so I've heard, so please be right or I will look like an ass). MANHATTAN MAN!!!! Only the best skyline ever, if the taxi cab exhaust ain't killin ya, it's the sewage stench that does. Bustling streets? C'mon, it's NYC baby! As for the hot Japanese girls.....well I guess you got me there. But about that missing civilization thing? Dude, it's New York. Nuff said.

Anything other than Manhattan in New York is Canada. Don't get me wrong. I love New York. I'm from Syracuse but this doesnt change the fact that the entire country of Korea and Japan is Manhattan. Plus, everyone in Seoul and Tokyo has broadband and everyone knows how to work text messaging with their cell phones. Oh and uh we don;t look like @sses in the Far East talking to nobody with our ear pieces connected to our PDA's. Thanks. ASIA forever.

    Ha ha.
If I could afford it/didn't mind living in a rabbit hole, I'd be living in Manhattan. And until the trains start running 24 hours in Tokyo, I still gotta give NYC the edge.

Plus, as a Kobe native, I don't have much love for Tokyo. Kansai forever!

    Back on topic:
I expect to make a trip to Japan in December/January. If I do, I can take orders from the statesiders and go shopping for jerseys, that is, if you can trust someone you've never met with your money. Anyhow, I'll make an announcement before I go.

Yep, its an awesome jersey. I had one sent to me by my sister who lives there. One thing, things sell out quick so I better move on it. I wanted last years Marinos jersey but I couldn't get it, my sister told me that they had this years so she bought it. She was kind enough to send me a Kashima Jersey too. Can you believe that??? While red isn't my favorite colour, its still an awesome jersey.

I just checked Kamo sports website and they don't list it anymore. I know that my sister bought my jersey there two months ago, so I hope you can find it somewhere.

    good luck.

PS. A few more weeks to go and Zico`s Japan team is gonna make an appearance. Man I am excited about that.

I've grown to like the kit. When they first rolled it out in spring training I was like what the hell??? I am quasi-purist in terms of the color schemes of a home kit, but again I've learned to adapt. Just think, it could have been red instead of black.
