Is anyone else excited about the Dynamo Galaxy game in October? I've been waiting a long time to see Beckham play, and I honestly hope the Dynamo CRUSH the Galaxy (they are almost like the Yankees to me. I hate the whole team). Sorry about the 5 month previous post, but I just got my ticket package in, and that is one of the preimer games that comes with the package. My first game with the package is coming up on the 19th of this month though...can't wait. GO DYNAMO!

And it might be seem to be a longer way away if we keep playing like this.

Seriously though, I'm excited as well and looking forward to the match.

I guarantee that will be one game that is SOLD OUT. 30,000+ or whatever capacity is.

It'll be a hot ticket in town, believe me.

I'm still trying to figure out what 15 games I can go to this summer in advance for a ticket pack so I can get a ticket to the Beckham game.

Just buy a five game pack. You can get it that way as well.

Hell yeah. I know I'm getting the 5-game pack. Also included in the pack is the first playoff game. But Robertson's gonna be rocking hardcore that night.

Another game I plan to go to for sure is the August 19th FC Dallas game. My birthday's the day before, so I plan to celebrate this year by watching us beat our rivals, yo. Cheers!

I was thinking about going to that game, but I decided to go to the August 25th game instead. My birthday is two days before that game, and I am already going to see Houston vs. FC Dallas on June 3rd. I was also going to see the Houston vs. Club America game, but since it's during the week, I didn't think I could go.

It's not why I bought season tickets but that game is the biggest one on the list... Club America a close second. But at each game this season I've thought about how awesome that game will be. Beckham isn't the best player in the world but he means a lot. I put him in the same category as Ronaldhino, and I felt as if I was in the presence of a legen when Bracelona played here last summer.

Any word on if another big European club will be touring America this summer and coming to Houston?

There are some games scheduled with Euro Clubs, but they seem to favor the Gals to this point. Most of the bigger Clubs will tour Asia this summer. I believe Man U, Barcelona and Bayern are some of them.

The last Euro club I recall coming through Houston - other than Barca in that doubleheader last year - was Everton a few years ago, when they played Pachuca and America in Reliant. Houston hasn't seen many of the big Euro clubs on their tours through North America. Now that AEG has more interests here, that may change in the future.

It wouldn't break my heart if Everton came back to Houston. I was in heaven that week they were here.

I'd rather have a "big club" come.

I would love to see Man U come to houston. And I know what you're saying stagnant. At the Barca game, I was light headed from blowing the horn the whole time. I loved that game. I hated seeing Houston lose to LA though (but look who got the last laugh AKA- championship cup.)

Of course, I think ever football club in EPL is just sub par except for Man U...sorry for those who I might offend. Just how I feel...lol

Hey, no offense taken. You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

However.... (you just knew that was coming)

...we've just seen three English teams in the semi finals of the Champions League. Manchester United destroyed a Roma team in the quarter finals. Spurs made a good run in the UEFA Cup.

Frankly, the only league I might say is on par as a whole from top to bottom at this point in time would be La Liga.

But even the most biased observers would have to admit the quality of the EPL.

I know you said sub-par but that could have meant any number of things so I just took it to mean the overall quality of the league. Hope I didn't misconstrue anything.

No, I just think that Man U has the greatest EPL team. Chealse (although I don't like the team), I can respect. I like the players there, and it's great ball to watch, just I can't give loyalty else where from Man U. I can say that I would rather watch almost any EPL over most MLS games though. I love the MLS, and I want it to grow to where it can be a huge leauge, but the quality over seas is just amazing. So in that aspect, it's not sub-par...just IMO when they compare to MUFC...lol

--P.S.~ Sorry for stating the obvious.

We just bought our airline and hotel tickets for the Dynamo in LA on 9/16.

It's my birthday and we're going regardless, but I've already been in touch with an LA ticket rep and I am going to do whetever it takes to get tickets for the game.

Any other supporters planning on wearing the orange at HDC that day?

I hope there are some San Jose fans that followed the team to Houston, maybe they will be out there. I guess we'll find out. I really wish I could make it though.
