People think I'm nuts, but I've been taking 3 weeks vacation during World Cup since 1998. 1994 was hell, everyone telling me the score.

Vacation for me too. Most of last week, all of this week and my work calendar is blocked on possible US game days in the knockout stages so I can take vacation when needed.

Yea I have to work this weekend as well. Its kind of depressing when you've been waiting 4 years for something and you have to miss what could be the last game. I'll be in a hotel so DVR isnt an option. I'm not sure about a ESPN3.com replay, so I dont know what i'm gonna do, ughh.

A tip for those of you who are in this situation and are going to be relying on a replay on espn3.

Make sure if you have access to espn3 at home that you set your account for remote access. Then you can watch it on espn3 anywhere. If not you may be out of luck if your hotel or wherever doesn't use an ISP with access to espn3.

I play Super Y League, and had a game scheduled for 2 PM, that got rescheduled to 8AM. Not liking the new time, but at least I get to watch both the Uruguay(my country), and the USA games

I have to work as well. (Somewhat) Luckily, I get off work at 4. So, hopefully I can avoid spoilers.

That's the one positive about soccer in U.S. I don't think I'll have the result spoiled to me. Just gotta keep the phone/radio off.

Show up wasted and immediately walk in and start groping the bride. You'll be back on your couch by kickoff and you'll get to feel some titties.

Hotel?? Drop $40 for a room at a fleabag motel to watch the game, you don't have to sleep there.

If we make it to the semis, I'll have to work the day of that game. Other than that, I lucked out--on through the entire first stage of the tourney plus Saturday's game, and a 4-day weekend next week.
