Tradition. I guess you never saw the guy he replaced in the mid-90s. In all seriousness, at his peak he was pretty good, although prone to occasionall embarassment. He doesn't seem to be near that peak anymore, but he'll probably be adequate as a hold over. Most City fans assumed Keegan didn't think his young keepers were quite ready yet, and must of us hoped it would only be for 1 year.
