Lots of rumour floating around. Sancho is going back to United. Mixed feelings on that one. Not sure if it is the club that rejected him OR that he rejected the clubs wage structure.

    Gittens.

We need to start selling players and loaning some out, etc. We still have a lot of players on our books who i thought we had sold ages ago.

Yea mixed feelings as well. We need better but he’s good squad depth. The 5m explained makes more sense tho. We never paid a loan fee. It was a loan with either an option to buy at 25 or return at 5. So if we triggered the clause it would have only been 25 not 25 plus a a fee.

Looks like we’re going to be after more players.

Fabrizio: More on Mike Maignan and Chelsea exclusive story. Understand contacts have started also with Enzo Maresca appreciating the French goalkeeper as ideal option for his tactical approach. Chelsea are on it, and the manager has approved Maignan as a key target.

Has to mean one of Sanchez or Petro will be sold with Jorgi and Penders going on loan. I imagine AC Milan could end up picking which GK of ours they want which would be ideal.

Grealish seems on the outs in Manchester. Would we want him. I think he’s got a lot left in the tank and the kids might benefit from a veteran presence.

his dribbling ability surprised me for a striker, he's not bad with the ball at his feet.

Kepa Arrizabalaga [30] is off to Arsenal for the great fee of £5m (release clause).

Mudryck was a bigger waste of money. But we have certainly wasted a LOT of money - especially since BlueCo.

Eh I’m a little disappointed. Really wish he had went back to Bournemouth and solidified himself as their n1 and a solid keeper. Looks like he’s accepting a n2 to finish out his career.

He is still only 30. Which is young for a keeper.

Jamie Gittens: We have apparently had our opening bid of 35m euros (£29.5m) rejected and Dortmund are holding out for 50-60m euros (£42-£50m).

Chelsea sign Strasbourg defender Sarr for £12m. He will be 20 in August and he plays at CB.

The signing is Chelsea's fourth of the summer, following the arrival of Liam Delap or £30m from Ipswich Town, Estevao from Palmeiras for £29m and Dario Essugo [20] from Sporting Lisbon for £18m.

True but each passing year he stays harder and harder to leave and while GKs can play later and later it’s usually after they’ve been with a club. Less likely for someone to come in and buy a 33 year old GK for 1-2 years vs going younger.

Marcus Bettinelli’s move from #CFC to #MCFC could be done quickly. Chelsea happy to agree terms in time for him to join Man City in time for Club World Cup. [Simon Johnson]

Djordje Petrović will be left out of Chelsea squad for FIFA Club World Cup. Chelsea plan is not to bring any player out on loan during the season, apart from Andrey Santos. Decision made for Petrovic, as...
    @Matt_Law_DT
    reports.: "

******** clownlake, ******** maresca; because he was hurt last preseason I do not think he even played 1 second to get a chance to impress maresca. God bless the kid I hope he lands at a proper team along with if they actually push them out too as rumored, Chala, Madueke etc....

This is all about Maignan. He was likely promised a chance to compete for GK1 then it comes out Chelsea is buying Maignan and he’s told that him or Sanchez will be sold with the other being n2 to Maignan. AC had interest in him so he likely waits. Deal falls through and now it’s back to yea we want you. I think he’s just over it. He likely feels like he won’t be given a fair shot to win GK1 and wants a move. With the WC around the corner he needs time.

Disasi, Sterling, Felix will stay home as well and told to find new teams, no surprise; I still don't get the business side of announcing to world players are not at all wanted then holding out for and expecting top dollar.

Gittens & Joao Pedro signed (or here we go anyway).

Good stuff, gittens likely a fair improvement over sancho, JP makes the the no9 spot very competitive with nkunku guiu or jackson likely leaving

Nkunku is def gone and hopefully Guiu can secure a loan to Ipswich to replace Delap there. Jackson won’t be sold.

I wouldn't sell Jackson either. But it's interesting having him with JP and Delap. He's pretty good for his age imo and has good hold up play. Numbers will be an issue. Or is JP capable of playing in AM/SS position?

Where does Estevao play as well?
