Doesn’t have enough points to get a work permit, so off to Europe he goes. Strasbourg

    CB's we should be considering.

Jonathan Tah - looks to be Barca or Bayern bound - but we could maybe make a move
Marc Guehi from Palace - we should try in January imho - give them a bunch of cash and Chalobah

I think the plan for him is to stay and train with the team for the second half the season then go on loan next season.

They won’t sell Guehi in Jan. Their just starting to dig themselves out of the hole they started the year in.

We were idiots to force Chalobah (and yes Conor) out, and neither will be back because idiots do not like to admit they are idiots. Recall Alfie back probably the best option now and try to buy in summer, l do like the NFO cb. Might be better to play Reece at cb though it limits his potential impact and try to keep him healthy.

Romano - Trevoh Chalobah’s recall is not possible for Chelsea as there was no break clause into his loan deal at Crystal Palace

Is Rees tall enough for CB?

He’s 5’10. Not ideal but passable. Honestly Acheampong played well. Clearly young and room to improve but was impressed.

I prefer a tall CB. However, Franco Baressi was 5ft 9".

Still have no idea what and why we do things. Apparently though thin in lb, cm, and cb we have reached a verbal deal to sell Veiga, who can play all 3 spots, to Dortmund.

I like Veiga but he’s right, he’s a better CB than LB or DM and while he’s a good player he needs regular PT to develop. I hope we get a buy back option.

We have not reached an agreement, but apparently he has. He has agreed personal terms. Odd that we never played him as a CB, when that is his preferred position and that is where the Portugal national team have used him. BUT if he wants to leave, then let him go. Make some money on him. No loans.

Maresca will not be doing a U-turn on Ben Chillwell. Gusto can cover left and right - if James is fit.

The more interesting news is that Disasi might leave as well and if both go then I imagine Trev will be back. He can cover CB and RB if James goes down.

Who is going to take Disasi? Juventus?

Chalobah is not coming back. Personally i don't think Chalboah is good enough, but more to the point there is no way Blue cok will bring him back, that will just not happen. They will not admit that they made a mistake of any kind.

No word on who but this is context:

[Romano] Understand Axel Disasi’s expected to be left out of Chelsea squad tomorrow as he can leave in January. There are already important clubs in talks to explore January move and Chelsea are open to this solution following discussion with the player.

If he and Viega leave I imagine a CB is coming in as we’d only have 3 seniors (1 is injured) and 1 youth. Fofana is done for the year so not including him.

    Trev is back

Didn't see that coming honestly, hope he gets a real chance. He's not starter caliber for us but can definitely be useful

I still don't get the Chalobah dissing, he is already one of our two best cb's and our record when he starts is ridiculous.

Facts, I don’t mind trying to upgrade from him. We should but to pretend he’s not one of our better CBs is crazy. He’d have been 3rd best if all fit and should have kept his spot over Badi, Disasi and Tosin but was pushed out because FFP rules require you to sell your own. His profile also perfectly fits Enzo and his ability to cover at RB in a pinch makes him valuable depth.

Ideally, Disasi leaves in Jan. Badi in the summer and we keep Colwell, Fofana, Trev and Tosin. Plus add a top class CB. Then move on from Tosin.

He is a nice bloke. He has been with the club since being 8. We love that. BUT he is not that good. He's just not. I would love to be proven wrong. We are bringing him back to use as cover and keep on the bench. We are looking for fast ball playing CB's and young Josh at 18 - he is the real deal. I just feel that we are messing with Chalobah at this point. ruining his career. He would be better to stay with Palace and start every week.

Mike Keegan: EXCLUSIVE Brighton express interest in Chelsea's Tosin Adarabioyo. Player moved on a free from Fulham in the summer. No decision from Chelsea yet. Sale could generate instant profit/smart business.

Yea we need to improve on him but in the same breath, he’s better than Tosin, Disasi and Badi. As for Josh, he’s better than him right now too. Josh could become the better of the two but he needs to play day in day out and a loan would be ideal. Trev is a great CB 3/4 to have who can also cover RB. He’s good enough to step in and start the rest of the season for us at RCB because there isn’t a player on the market right now that we can get that’s better and we need to stop spending on similar talent with different skills.

    There are players. . .

Araujo from Benfica or the one from Barcelona? The Uruguayan RCB Ronald Federico Araújo da Silva Araujo is looking to join Juventus in the Jan window. Juventus will make a new attempt for Milan’s Fikaoyo Tomori if Barcelona refuse to sell Araujo.

I just think it is cruel for us to bring back Chalobah to then try to get rid of him again in the summer.

I wish we'd kept Hall and Livramento, what they're doing right now at Newcastle is impressive. How unlike us to keep the 'average' players while simultaneously providing our Premier League rivals with some of their best players!

Livramento and Hall wanted to leave.

Reece James and Gusto are better right backs than Livramento.
Hall wanted to play for his club Newcastle. His families team, etc. He wanted to go.

I wish we had kept players who wanted to stay - but we got rid of anyways like. . .

I wish we had kept Fik Tomori a player that we could actually do with about now.

I wish we kept Kevin De Bruyne.

I wish we had kept Mo Salah.

Hall also wanted to play in the mid and not the defense. He moved and then didn’t play. Wasn’t until he moved back to defense that he started to see the field.
