Atletico Madrid are very annoyed with the attitude of Chelsea FC and tensions are very high right now. Using Samu’s satisfactory medical examination as an excuse, they started to try and change conditions in the contract. . . .the deal collapsed, they are now thinking about cancelling the Gallagher deal unless we take Felix.

Not signing Samu makes me think we are signing Osmihen.

Sterling, Mudryck and Noni may all be heading out the door.

Broja is going out on loan - Stuggart

    Next up:

[Edmund Brack] Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Carney Chukwuemeka’s situation at Chelsea. The Eagles will look to make a play for the midfielder if he is made available by the Blues

[Fabrizio Romano] Strasbourg have completed deal to sign Diego Moreira from Chelsea on a permanent move. It will be permanent rather than loan. Moreira signs five year deal, seen as winger perfect fit for Liam Rosenior’s system at Strasbourg.

    wonder the fee

Samu "failed the medical"? Maybe. He did sit some of the Olympics out.

Is Neto an admission that our previous winger purchases were absolute dross?

I think it’s more that they’re getting Osimhen to rid themselves of Lukaku.

Is it time to really start thinking he's coming? Man, he divides a lot of people.

    * Turns 26 in December - perfect age and should be hitting prime.
    * In four years with Napoli he's scored 76 goals. That's 19 per season. One big season during their scudetto with 31 goals.
    * I think 15-18 goals is more his speed.
    * Nico Jackson scored 17 for us last season.

    So, I mean....I don't know, really.

I don't really understand, but we HAVE to buy a player from Atletico Madrid apparently. Weird.

JF enjoyed his time at Chelsea and he was liked by the club. He was apparently close to joining last summer. IF we sign him, then we really must let Sterling and Mudryck go. I would keep the Noni – but Noni is the only one of those 3 who would be in demand in the transfer market.

Felix was going to be the next big thing at one point. He cannot really be over the hill at 24. Can he?I mean at one point he was an amazing player. do we want him?

IF we HAVE to take a player from Madrid, can we just have Oblak?

So, I mean. . .I don't know, really either. He is leaving, he has to leave Napoli. We have always been interested in him. Arsenal have shown some interest in him. PSG have gone cold on him. Where else could he go? If we sign him, i hope he is great, but we hav this history of buying expensive strikers who go on to be immense flops at the club.

i was okay with that loan with an option to buy idea. But naturally they are not interested in that.

Chelsea looked into Pedro Neto's injury history. Two of the biggest injuries he had were impact injuries. Chelsea are pretty confident they aren't the kind of injuries you worry about recurring. When he did his medical, the result was better than they expected.

I guess we shall see. Maybe we HAVe to buy Felix as back up?

From the perspective of having one or the other on the books, I definitely rather have Osinhen. We’ve already been on the other merry-go-round, at least there is some potential for upside.

The loan option would be fine - with the option to buy. But naturally Napoli wants the money and the agent wants his %
Thing is, if we took him for a season loan, we would all see his true value and it would be a long way from that asking price.

Osimhen remains first choice for Chelsea,

    WTF

Fabrizio Romano EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea request Conor Gallagher to return to London on Tuesday, set to book flight. Chelsea see all deals as separate, João Félix too — offered to #CFC on Sunday. Door remains OPEN for Gallagher to join Atléti after medical done, up to all parties involved.

Spanish media reporting is Atletico who have told Conor to go back and wait in London, not us.

The twitteratti are reporting Atletico are very angry at what we have done by tanking the Samu deal, and the offer we made for Felix being far less than they asked for.

We need to also remember there's a person in this whole mess.

Gallagher has given his all to Chelsea, been here since a boy, worked his way up to be Captain - had a really really wrenching decision to make in going to Ateltico, came to terms with it, flew there - and now everyone's cocked it up. Absolute shambles.

I want no part of whoever this tank Samu is, nor Felix. I've seen that movie before and it sucks.

This is my favorite transfer window euphemism…keeping tabs, watching closely…gives this kinda vibe:

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has signed a two-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer, 22, already had seven years remaining on his existing contract and his new extension keeps him with the Blues until 2033, having previously been tied down until 2031.

The nine-year deal is yet to be officially announced.

Palmer's incredible debut season for the Blues following a £42.5m arrival from Manchester City saw him score 22 goals and provide 11 assists in 33 Premier League appearances.

I think our 'sporting directors' should resign. This is a huge fcucking mess.

I did some digging and the Conor issue is not related to Samu or Felix. Atletico are still interested in Conor. Aston Villa and Spurs are also very interested in Conor. I think there is some kind of bidding war going on. As far as I can tell.

Well, the main thing is, it is a huge fcucking mess and this is NOT the way to conduct business. Our Directors need to resign imho.

One day we might know the truth.
