Galatasary have supposedly confirmed that he did in fact pass his medical and the other tweet was false information.
Looks like West Ham is in for Kudus but hasn’t made a formal offer. Maybe we make it an August theme where we swoop in and snatch a transfer from each team we play.
Hall apparently about to be sold for 28 million obligatory buy after 1 season loan to a direct top 4 competitor, but hey we still got Cucu
We have Chillwell and we have Maatsen and then we have. . . Hall is a lifelong Newcastle fan. We were sending him on loan to Palace. They are offering him first team football. Maatsen is better than Hall. And so it goes.
It is official https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66539123 "I'm really happy join Chelsea and be a part of this exciting project," said Lavia, "Liverpool were interested, but they really are a bunch of scouse kunts and cannot be trusted".
RE-Cap. Incomings: Moises Caicedo (Brighton, £100m), Romeo Lavia (Southampton, £53m), Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig, £52m), Axel Disasi (Monaco, £35.8m), Nicolas Jackson (Villarreal, £32m), Robert Sanchez (Brighton, £25m), Lesley Ugochukwu (Rennes, £23.2m), Angelo (Santos, £13m). Outgoings: Kai Havertz (Arsenal, £65m), Mason Mount (Man Utd, £55m), Mateo Kovacic (Man City, £25m), Christian Pulisic (AC Milan, £20m), Kalidou Koulibaly (Al-Hilal, £19.8m), Edouard Mendy (Al-Ahli, £15.9m), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan, £15m), Ethan Ampadu (Leeds, £7m), N'Golo Kante (Al-Ittihad, free), Cesar Azpilicueta (Atletico Madrid, free), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Marseille, free), Abdul Rahman (PAOK Salonika, free).
[Jacob Steinberg] Chelsea have submitted a bid of around £15m for New England goalkeeper Djordje Petkovic #cfc
Fair point. Still disappointed that we let an academy player of the season leave ahead of cucu. If we compare Maatsen and Hall, the latter's potential is much higher and offers more in attack (in pace, dribbling and crossing). He would have been a like-for-like replacement for Chilly at wingback who will get injured at some point, and then we would end up with no flying wing backs in the first eleven. Poch would then have to find different ways to provide width on the pitch.
The club looked at both Maatsen and Hall. Hall was going out on loan. Maatsen is a fairly decent player imho. Poch preferred him much of the pre-season. imho Maatsen is probably a more attack minded player than Hall. time will tell. We might….We might regret letting him go. …But over the last 20 years how many players have we really regretted getting rid of? For me it’s Robben, Salah and KdB. Those are the only ones. AND Lewis Hall to Jawdee land is only a loan at this point. So there is always a possibility we haven't lost him just yet.
We have scrubbed the bottom of the GK barrel and come up with yet another nugget of potential. Djordje Petrovic from New England Revolution for 16m euros. This is what happens when the main part of your budget is spent on "progressive passers," "guys who cook," and neck tattoos. A farce.
And Petrovic appears to be a done deal: https://www.skysports.com/football/...eal-to-sign-new-england-revolution-goalkeeper hope he is good I have never seen him play. ................................ anyone in for Greenwood? he was basically acquitted., from a pure player view he would be quite useful
No Italian club is actively looking to take on Big Rom. Lukaku is currently training with the Chelsea U21 team. He has not even spoken with Pochettino. Chelsea will NOT be letting him go out on Loan. After the window closes on September 1st – what then? A Saudi Club will be his only option.
I saw Borota play - I think he really wanted to play centre forward, he'd spend half the game outside his box
Can we talk about our striker strategy? is it just to accumulate as many high potential players as possible with an eye to sell them to fund other potential signings? How will these players get a route to the first team? How will they develop? Who is going to score goals for us NOW?
