Romeo Lavia has chosen to join Chelsea from Southampton. Liverpool were pursuing but are aware of decision. Chelsea and Southampton have good relations, so no issues expected on deal or personal terms. Fee likely to be around £50m + add-ons

Conor is a more natural 8 acm, Ugochukwu more for the future plus he has a cool name, so really dm will only be Caicedo and Lavia, so not that deep, and those two may play together in a double pivot kind of deal as we more likely to play 4 at back and Lavia I think is more versatile.

 

I see him as more an acm, or inverted narrow winger, who can play on the wing, in a different way a bit like Mount's role.
