I love seeing the smoke, Italy seems to be the best, especially when the two Milan teams play or the two Rome teams play. The only two games in MLS I have seen smoke were MLS Cup 97 and the 1998 US Open Cup final. The DC fans brought in some smoke bombs to RFK in 97 and Chicago fans brought them in to Soldiers Field in 98. I would love to see more of it.
yes, the game was Atletico Nacional vs America(cali) this thursday, they were playing in medellin and fighting for a spot in the next round of copa sudamericana... of course that my team won!!! PS- I can't believe that 2 people have voted for the boring music

Fans can't even bring sandwiches into the stadiums here........I am pretty sure we would get stopped at the gate trying to sneak in the explosives and pyrotechnics... Not that I'm opposed of it however......I would like for US soccer fans to have their own thing, not copy everything they have seen elsewhere....
hehe, nice... well we are not allowed to carry that... we are organized, so we have meetings with the local police and we made arrangements for bringing stuff like paper, flags, flares and such... making that kind of stuff needs a lot of effort... well, i would like what the US fans come with...
Really? I see smoke bombs at almost every Fire game (I believe they're only allowed in SECTION 8.) This would be a good policy for all MLS staduims I think: only allowing smoke bombs, flares, etc. in the "supporters section." PS- NACIONAL, I have seen flares at MLS games before. So maybe.......
We have come up with our own things: Those Mutherf ucking horns that drive me insane when the USMNT has a home game, and those balloon cyllanders people bang together. I say we admit the mistake and do whatever their doing in Mexico, Italy, England, Altantis, whatever. The soccer mom atmosphere at most MLS games sucks. The game should be a celebration, and the more pyromaniacs in the stands, the better.

Exactly what I asked. The first (and only) thing I thought of were some really cool, new chants. And maybe some hand gestures to go along with it.
i think that some caracteristcs of soccer must be preserved... like flags... but the elements of those caracteristics can be changed, like size, form, and movement... what do you think??
Crew fans recently got a smoke machine...we'll see if it's visable this Sunday. And I don't know what the Fire fans use...but it's a lot of smoke.
