I don't hate DC as much as I hate our lack of intensity...

I have yet to see a game (granted, on TV) where Columbus comes out firing on all cylinders the entire match. Hell, even 60% of one. We play flat, and remain flat regardless of the scoreline.

Last week it was the same thing, and we came away with a lucky goal. This time, DC ran us over like a monster truck, passing around us like we're a U-10 team. We seemed content to have ever player recieve the ball with the back to goal, only to either cough it up or make a pass back, which, not surprisingly, was coughed up as well....

The ONLY bright spot I saw:

Trevor Perea, thank you for playing some attack-minded soccer. I could've mistook you for Martino tonight. The one-touch passing FORWARD (a concept the team is lacking, currently) was the only breath of fresh air during the game.

How many times are we going to blow the chance to be the best when it's sitting in our laps?....Christ..

..and I could have mistaken him as a munchkin. . anyways, I have to say that I hate DC. I don't hate them now, but when they play the Crew, I surely hate them. Our lack of intensity sucked, granted, but I could never hate anything about the Crew. Fight the real enemy. :) It's the marking in the box, which Harkes pointed out weeks ago, that kills us. I still find it a laughing matter that thecrew.com even have Ross Paule as a candidate for the man of the Match for the Crew. He was blatently not marking anyone on the Petke goal.

May I ask why you ask this? Cause, listen, If you feel just b/c I'm younger than some of you, that I don't deserve to express my opinion, I'm going to get mad. Alright?

And I'm with YITBOS on this one, cause I tried to rewatch last weeks game, and it just makes me disappointed. . .

Yup. I taped both games while I was on vacation. Refused to watch the first one because I knew the result and knew it was a bad game.

I fastforwarded through most of the second one because we looked like total sh1t. I turned it off completely at about the 70th minute because I refused to waste any more of my time. Glad I did too, because I didn't know the result of that one.

That was the first time I have ever done that. They looked like sh1t and I knew it wasn't gonna get any better. Watching West and the rest of the alternates was just plain painful. Someone let me know when we field a team again.
