I am going single handely make this forum more active. I haven't been a fan of belgium football nor have never seen any of the teams play and probably never will living In america but you guys have inspired me. I will root fo r the belgium NT and follow them over the internet. We will speak more often and be one of the most involved forums on this site. Definetly need to be more passionate and once I find a club team to root for I will lead the way. All right Thats it.

Well as for a team I looked at all their websites and saw that only Cercle Brugge, Lierse, Anderlecht and Standard De Liege have english sites, but Lierse and Cercles are pretty limited. So I will probably go with either Anderlecht (which I don't want to because I don't want to seem like a glory hunter) or Standard De Liege (probably will look like one either way. I also noticed that Beveren? has some good young talent.

Welcome, I should try and post more often too, but school is killing me this semester. I'll try and post more around here too.

Beveren is very good indeed. They play with 10 players from Ivory coast and one Belgian guy. Most of the team is younger than 23.

Anderlecht is a top club, and I love their fansite (Purpledynamite.com or something like that), but Standard has the big Yank, Oguchi "Gooch" Oneywu anchoring the back line.

    Glad to have you Kansassoccer.

Gooch is getting praise all over lately, especially from his teammates. They believe that if he keeps developing the way he does, he won't be with Standard for too long.

Let's hope so, but Standard has a sell and buy policy that is unseen in the history of football.
