Damn. Why not a Fire fan? Although their form over the last few years has been disappointing.

 

They didn't come into existence until well after I'd grown up and left Chicago, so no real connection. Still big fan of other Chicago teams (apart from the Cubs). From a soccer standpoint, though, my first big love was Chelsea during the era where they had a lot of French players. Lived in Chelsea near Stamford Bridge, went to matches often. Then FC Seoul - long story, worked closely in partnership with their owners so developed an interest in the team. Then the Dynamo after finally settling in Houston. All of them have given me mostly pain over the years, although I guess the same could be said of the Fire had I supported them.

 

Shit, I step away for a moment only to return to see multiple player threads up lolol. I don't know who's willing to keep up with all of them, but more power to you.

 

Relock this or unlock all the other threads. Don't compromise consistency to prove a point.

They scouted him by watching his every match? Are K2 matches even televised?

 

If Hwang In Beom was to go to MLS, I would've prefer him come to L.A.F.C.

They probably dispatched a Korean-Canadian (Kanuck) to scout him.
