He had muscle issues during the Asian Cup which is why he skipped matches, and had a weird running form during the games he did play.

He noticed further calf pains during training, and was rested. It is a shame because he was having such a good season. However, it does seem to be a re-occuring theme throughout his career.

It seems Hwang Hee-Chan's muscle injuries are somewhat resolved for the game ahead. Will have to check his sprinting form during the game.

As they say, what a howler. A sitter from 4 meters out.

The only thing with Hwang is that he sometimes acts more injured than he is (ex. Headbutt earlier this season or even Asian Cup when he drew the red - was so sure he was done)... I mean he's definitely out this weekend but given he was able to limp off + might have been giving time for the subs to be made, I'm hopeful its not a 2-3 months thing... maybe back in time for the QF?

Hwang Hee-Chan is currently joint-second with Park Ji-Sung in terms of goals scored by an Asian player in the English Premier League with 19 goals. As injury-prone as he appears to be, a fit Hwang Hee-Chan is a dangerous threat with the necessary combination of speed, strength (especially for his smaller size), and busy off-the-ball movement to create goals without needing a lot of touches on the ball.

Yeah hes a good player. Unfortunately his track record for injuries is poor.

as a result, i dont think any bigger teams are wanting to him.

least we know he will start for wolves for most games.

I'm okay with him as a solid starter on a midtable EPL team...
Maybe in a magical year, they'll have a run to a top 5 finish and a Europa berth...
Maybe make some noise in domestic cup competitions...
    That's a good career.

What a lame response. I happened to be in Como last week and walked by their decrepit stadium that seats less than 8,000. They are a bush-league team with a bush-league mentality. Hope they get swiftly relegated this season.
