Fosun is a huge company. They have some smart people working at Wolves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fosun_International

Holy shyt, Salzburg are morons. It was inevitable that this front three were going to leave at some point, but to lose them all at once, and for such a low price is unbelievable. At least Frankfurt made bank when they sold their front three.
how so? they admitted they are selling club & one of the way for them to attract top talent is by inserting release clause. as for Hwang HC? is he really moving this Jan? i doubt it imo... his release clause seems to be the highest of the 3 & RB Salzburg director stated they want to at least keep Hwang HC til summer.
Release clauses can do that to you. The cause is Salzburg playing well in CL but not well enough to not be relegated to EL for the remainder of the season. There are rumors he'll be loaned back, but the Wolves may end up selling another striker which would make that a bad idea for them.
Wouldn't mind seeing him go to RB Liebzig to help them win a Championship. ----- Wolves are continuing discussions over a possible £19million deal for Red Bull Salzburg striker Hwang Hee-Chan. Sporting director Kevin Thelwell has followed the South Korean’s progress in the Champions League this season and is keen to strike a deal with other clubs also showing interest in the 23-year-old. A deal could also pave the way for Wolves’ Patrick Cutrone to return to Italy with Fiorentina keen. Wolves defender Jesus Vallejo may return to Real Madrid next month as they want him to play more frequently. Vallejo has made just seven appearances this season. Wolves scouts have watched over Hwang a number of times in December and the club are keen to bring him in to add more firepower to their squad. But Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will likely face stiff competition for his signature as teams in Germany, Spain are queuing up to recruit him. A versatile forward, Hwang can play anywhere across the front three and has scored nine goals in 22 appearances this season. The 23-year-old began his professional career with Salzburg, joining in 2015, and has since played 108 times for the first team – netting 38 goals. He is also a South Korean international alongside Son Heung-Min, and has picked up 32 caps since making his debut in 2016. The forward has caught the eye in the Champions League this season as he starred in an attacking trio with Takumi Minamino and Erling Haaland – with all three finding the net in a 4-3 loss against Liverpool at Anfield. Hwang, who has three strikes in the group stages, opened Salzburg’s account against the Reds as he made it 3-1 before goals from Minamino and Haaland brought them level – with Mo Salah breaking their hearts by scoring a winner. His signing would provide a boost to Wolves, who a flying high in the Premier League after beating Manchester City 3-2 – rising to fifth in the league. The team don’t exactly need help in the goalscoring department – Raul Jimenez is leading the way with 11 strikes and Diogo Jota has 6 – but the presence of Hwang would make Wolves more dangerous and create more chances. https://infosurhoy.com/sports/wolve...g-hee-chan-from-red-bull-salzburg-in-january/
Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly agreed a £23m deal with Red Bull Salzburg for Hwang Hee-chan. The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for his Austrian club during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring nine times and contributing 14 assists in 22 appearances in all competitions. The South Korea international scored against Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this season, while he has managed six goals and seven assists in 14 league outings. According to the Hamburger Morgenpost, Wolves have agreed a £23m deal for the attacker, who will join the Premier League club when the January transfer window opens for business. The report claims that a number of other clubs had been in the running for his services, but Wolves convinced the South Korean to make the move to Molineux. Hwang has been with reigning Austrian champions Salzburg since 2015. https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footba...ee-gbp23m-deal-for-hwang-hee-chan_384229.html
Would like to see him play for a top 4 team. A source has told me that at least one Bundesliga club (NOT Leipzig) are also interested in signing Hwang Hee-chan. I can’t confirm if the reported interest from Italy and Spain are true, but there’s genuine interest in him from Germany, where he’d likely be given more chances.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) January 2, 2020
Putting my Sherlock Holmes hat on, if I had to guess, Hwang might be headed to Dortmund considering Dortmund is looking to offload Alcacer. They might use Alcacer's transfer money to get Chan. https://www.skysports.com/football/...orussia-dortmund-after-erling-haaland-arrival

Doesn't make sense. Alcacer wants to leave because he wasn't getting enough mins & w/ arrival of Haaland.. even worse for him. Also, Hwang HC isn't single FW/CF type of player .... another issue.. if Favre leaves & BvB poach Marco Rose from Gladbach, would be the worst move for Hwang HC. Marco Rose didn't get along w/ Hwang HC (thus, he was shipped to HSV on loan by Salzburg)
https://sports.naver.com/news.nhn?oid=477&aid=0000227299 Lyon is interested in him as a replacement for injured Depay.
And Min isn't moving from Tottenham. Nor is In moving from Valencia. Edit: Jun is staying at Stade Reims, yes?
----- According to WolvesBite, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ pursuit of Hwang Hee-Chan will be put on hold until the summer while summer signing Patrick Cutrone has returned to training after his move to Fiorentina has also stalled. What’s the word? It is believed that Hee-Chan’s current club, RB Salzburg, will not sell the 23-year-old this month after losing two key members of their squad in Erling Haaland (to Borussia Dortmund) and Takumi Minamino (to Liverpool). The report claims that Wolves still hold an interest in the South Korean, but it seems increasingly likely that they will have to wait until the end of the season to clinch him. https://www.footballfancast.com/pre...uffer-transfer-setback-cutrone-hwang-hee-chan
---- Leicester City have been linked with a move for RB Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan. According to reports, City are among a host of Premier League teams eyeing a move for the South Korea international. Though, it seems any potential move would have to wait until the summer. In the meantime, we run you through what you need to know about the latest man to be linked with City. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/who-hwang-hee-chan-profile-3736794
Let's see. I would prefer Leicester, though. Aulas (Lyon President) said they were, indeed, interested in Hwang but Salzburg won't let him go this Winter. So he added, HHC won't join OL in January. I don't know if someone already specified it but Everton would be also interested in the signing of Hwang.
