Shearer's class and Robert Huth's never been a dirty player. I didn't see it, but I have a hard time believing Huth did it intentionally.

    Big, young and dumb: guilty.
    Dirty: no.

Went home and watched the tape at lunch. He pretty clearly did it intentionally. Either that, or he needs to learn how to walk because he's got a hard time controlling his legs.

I'd have a hard time saying he's not dirty, either, considering the yellow he got in the 81st minute for throwing Bramble into Given.

I've not seen the tape but just about everyone I know who has feels Huth was lucky the ref didn't see it or he'd have been sent off.

He came right down on Shearer. Looked like he hesitated, then did it. He'll get something from the FA for that, I hope. Just watched game today after my 24hr boycott of FSW for giving away the score 4 minutes before the first showing of the match.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Apparently if the morons at the FA don't look the other way, the Dirty German will be banned for three matches.

Hopefully Neil Lennon got a good laugh out of that incident.

I finally saw the match last night, I hope Huth gets some games for that move. It was definitely on purpose.

    Pigs Eye (St. Paul),
I saw it. It was a dirty play by Huth. Did Shearer do anything to him prior to the incident? I wouldn't think anyone would do something like that without provocation.

I also can't believe that Shearer went back in the game and didn't go after Huth. When the game ended he just shook hands with the Chelsea players. I'd have been taking scalps.

I just read on the Chelsea thread Huth was cleared of the incident by the FA. If this is true, that is a disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves. What did Huth have to do, actually kick him in the groin rather than blatantly stepping on him????

    Yup.

    Soccernet confirms.

Ref says he saw it and took no action. They're not even gonna take a look from what I gathered.

Shearer knows lots about intentionally kicking people and getting the FA to let you off with it, maybe he gave him some advice??

This is why they need to get me into the EPL. Sure I'm only an decent player, but I'm bigger than Huth, and I'd gladly "slip" on his ankle with my FG's and make it look believable.

The FA are the biggest buntch of tossers in the game of football, the next thing you know they'll be listening to Sepp Blatter!. Oh wait the already are. They do this time after time. They say that it undermines the referees authority if they ban a player even though the ref didn't see it. NO IT DOESN'T!!!!! If they banned players for kicking stamping and blatent diveing (stand up or fall to the ground clutching your face Mr's Boeteng and Makalele) It will cut it out of the game instantly. Caught on tap like Boeteng, Makalele and Huth 3 match ban and £20,000 fine simple as that. Do that and it will be gone from the game.

Fcuk Fcuk Fcuk Fcuk THE FA FCUK FCUK FCUK THE FA!

well, i have read on the internet and teletext, that the ref Rob Styles, actually saw what happened but decided not to do anything, and thats why the FA are not going to do anything!! that is the worst refereeing decision i've seen in a long time!!!
