The diagnostic examinations performed this morning at J|Medical did not show any muscle injuries for Miralem Pjanic who had already today carried out a personalised session in the gym.

How is it that Sarri has missed this one?

Pjanic limped off during this evening’s match in Zenica, clutching the adductor of his right thigh.

“I hope it’s nothing serious. I’ve been carrying this problem for a while now, we’ll see over the next few days, but I hope that I stopped in time to avoid anything worse.”

It was originally thought that Pjanic might be out for some time, however after being assessed at the J-Medical centre today, the club have confirmed that there is no muscle tear.

The Juve No 5 has fatigue in his right leg, the same problem that forced him off midway through Juve's match against Lecce several weeks ago.

Pjanic will be ordered to rest by the Juve medical team, with a view to giving him some minutes on the pitch against Atalanta next Saturday.

uventus full-back Alex Sandro has picked up a right thigh injury while on international duty with Brazil.

He went off during the 1-0 friendly defeat to Argentina on Friday and is therefore ruled out of the squad for their next test against South Korea on Tuesday.

According to Globoesporte, Juve medics have been informed of the injury, which is to the right adductor at the top of his thigh.

Matuidi took part in the entire training session.

Pjanic trained only partially in a group,

Rabiot underwent personalised training due to a slight strain on the left adductor; while Ronaldo did custom work

Finally, an update on Alex Sandro: the Brazilian was tested today at J Medical for a clinical and radiological check that showed a significant improvement to the left adductor problem and; therefore, his condition will be evaluated day by day.

Cristiano Ronaldo was left behind in Turin, despite scoring four goals for Portugal.

“I hope he’ll be back for the Champions League on Tuesday. He has this little problem that is above all affecting him in training, as he’s struggling to train consistently.

“A lot depends on how the lad feels, the fatigue and the need he has at any moment to rest. He felt, and I fully agreed, it was important right now to find a way of training that wouldn’t put extra pressure on the knee.

“It’s a solid knee, there are no lesions, but constantly having that pain does take it out of you. I was happy to rest him, as I felt the same way, that it was best to take this time to first of all rest and secondly analyse training methods to see how he could train differently.”

Federico Bernardeschi had to be substituted during the first half after struggling to breathe.

“Bernardeschi had a knock in his diaphragm and couldn’t breathe. He felt constantly like he was going to be sick, so we’ll see if there’s anything lasting or if it’s just a temporary knock.

“Douglas Costa came on and immediately had a slight adductor issue, so we hope that’s not serious either.”

    J|MEDICAL ASSESSMENTS

Following diagnostic tests carried out this morning at J|Medical, it emerged that Matthjis de Ligt suffered a dislocated right shoulder in yesterday's match and has now began the appropriate therapies and recovery.

Therapy and recovery also for Federico Bernardeschi, who yesterday suffered a bruise to the right hemithorax.

Douglas Costa suffered a low grade lesion of the semitendinosus muscle of the right thigh and has started rehabilitation treatment (the timing for a complete recovery is about 15 days).
