I'd suggest someone sticky this for the near future. I'd like to use this thread to compile a list of smaller agencies asking for immediate donations of material. Please keep the partisan stuff to a minimum To start: I just received this email from someone I recently taught with and can vouch for this agency in Baton Rouge. The email I received asked to avoid calls in order to reserve the phones for emergency use, thus the deletions.
As an alternative to money: My wife's a school teacher and this summer decided to work for the Red Cross as a volunteer. They are really busy, even up here in MI, fielding phone calls and donations.
