If Reading can get £1.5 million for Steven Hunt, I think they need to take it. Hunt is a nice hustler but he limits the offense a lot on the wing. Given the lack of firepower that we have in the midfield and all of the defensive additions we've made, I think it would be wise to sell him and pair Shorey up with either a healthy Convey or a left-winger with pace and an ability to deliver crosses to the strikers.
As per the usual Sun crap, not one quote from Hunt himself. I think it's crap until I see it elsewhere.
Coppell ready to fight off rivals as Hunt rumors fly. The news coming from this paper seems to be a bit more reliable. Not only is Coppell quoted several times praising Hunt, but Pompey boss Redknapp had this to say. I don't think he is going anywhere right now.
