Agreed, it's like wanting to see Arnold in a scene without an explosion or shootout to decide if he can act

His passing range with right foot is impressive. Many lefties are limited when it comes to weaker foot.

Still think the guy looks slow and soft, maybe in a 3 CN system it can be covered up.

I'm most curious about how he will react the first time Rudiger beach slaps him, should be interesting.

I want to be optimistic but something about him makes me feel like he won't be able to break into that starting role when everyone is healthy.

Then again both Eder and Rudiger didn't start for a year or 2 so I don't think that will be an issue.

I will say out of the 6 CBs on the squad, we'll see a lot of Asnecio/Dean these next few months.

Varane was like lightening, you heard something and saw something - then BAM! He was on the other side of the field.

I have a similar build to his and my knees hurt since I was a teen was a decent athlete at the time ofc no where near him but your joints still hurt even if you are thinner.

This was an informative watch. Thanks.

and welcome to Dean. Hope he serves the club well for years to come. Happy to get a young promising CB who is comfortable on the ball in the door. Should help with buildup.

"I think for someone who is only 20 years old, he has handled this situation well. Nothing has been noticeable in training. He is the first to want to finish the season well. He is pushing hard and is ready to play these two games" - Andoni Iraola

He seems to be one of those consumate professional types. A good match with the club.

I'm 192 CM tall or 6.2 or 3 for the US folks.

Cant speak for everyone but the majority of people i've met around my height suffer from joint ake and lower back pains.

For me its never been that bad that I cant run but as the years go by, you feel it and it does affect you.

Though Dean is very young so it should not be a problem and he is an actual athlete and is being taken care off by professionals on a very high level.

I just worry about his pace. He looks very slow on the 1v1 battles and seems to have issues when attackers turn him and change direction. Hopefully that can be improved and learn more technique. Kid has talent.

Huijsen vs Haaland tonight. Haaland was the fastest player in CL this season with 36.6 km/h top speed.

The concerns about his pace are exaggerated by too many people, to be honest. He's not rapid for Real Madrid CB standards, but he's more than mobile and whilst he doesn't have great acceleration, he still has good pace.
