I guess its true damn man 2 firings and he still sticks with sergio egea porque tan terco por ese argentino?
lol this is not good dood I wished he had fired that piece of shit egea long ago but I guess things are meant to be this way if he is gonna be stubborn and stand by that piece of shit argie
It was obvious he was going to be out if they lost this game. He left Almeria in 16th place, one point ahead of 18th place Zaragoza. Hopefully they get relegated now .
Not being a fan of Hugo the coach I had actually hoped he'd do well out there. His success is a success for Mexico. I think because he got a team like Almeria he was unable to get the refuerzos he needed to continue pushing them up a little higher on the table. But that's the game. Perhaps he can make changes for his next job. As was mentioned before, perhaps getting rid of Egea. Trying something different with a different assistant. I wish him the best.
I dont think anyone can do a great job with such lack of talent on the field. Almeria needs better players more than they need a new coach. Imo.
Exactly! I am sure if Hugo was coach of a team like Sevilla for example they would probably be in second place. I wonder whats next for Hugo? Just look for example at Man-city and what happened to Hughs and that club has a grip of star players.
Tough break for Hugo. They did not replace Negredo and their big signing,Vargas, got injured early on the season.
Their play of late only earning one point out of a possible 15 points coupled with todays loss against an awful Espanyol team lingering just above the relegation zone did him in. These past 5 games saw Almeria go from 11th to 17th place and their 5 point cushion above the relegation zone was reduced to one point. As it is this is a bad year for Andalucian teams in Primera as except for Sevilla who are in third, Jerez is in 20th, Malaga 18th and Almeria in 17th place, plus in Segunda no Andalucian team is currently in the promtion zone. I wish him luck where ever he goes next. Er Pichi
I don't think so, does are just stats anyone could have posted them. Most of your post in this thread question Hugo's tactics.
dude, you're not "labeled" an Hugo hater, you ARE an hugo hater. with the string of current results, it was only a matter of time.
oh , you mean like when you said this https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=19510744#post19510744
those are facts in the season emery had them, he finished 8th place in the season that hugo had them, he dropped them to 11th place statistical facts and obviously, in his last game for almeria, he dropped them to 17th place
Well, that's to be expected, Almeria have been garbage this season, and I would be surprised if they stayed in Primera, regardless of a coaching change.
