Sweet. I loved his work in Heavenly Creatures and the Lord of the Rings. I hope he fields a team of Uruk-hai.

Fool. Everyone knows the Brutal, hard tackling Uruk-hai fit the German style of play much better. Now, throw in some elves, with a sprinkling of hobbits and you have yourself one fantastic English soccer squad! ;)

Just checking the latest Town news and saw this link detailing Town's financial woes.

    Players owed figures

I feel dutybound to say it in this JT thread:

He needs a new situation. He cannot stay in HT with his current contract if he wants to move his career anywhere. He must move on.

Why? He likes playing soccer for free?

MLS paychecks are smaller, but they cash.

Who is that Andy Booth fellow who is owed £269,123? Is he the Booth who used to play for a BL1 team (Dortmund??)? In comparison, it is not too bad for JT, who is owed only around £37,000.

I think that's 6 weeks without a check for both of them, and yes its the Dortmund guy.

I am surprised Hudd hasn't free transferred some of these guys.

Johnny Thorrington for West Ham United!

John Thorrington is gonna end up having a career like Joe Enochs if he doesn't watch out. Hope he enjoyed his one cap.

Well John's pedigree and age lead me to believe he's got a better chance than Enochs to resurrect his Nats career. I just hope he gets a nice move to a place where he plays and gets paid.

To be honest Panic, his Nats career hasn't got off the ground. If I recall, JT only has made one appearance.

    Fair comment.

Where was he playing when he had his one and only cap?

If I recall, he was a second-half sub against Ecuador at Cbus.

He was at Huddersfield at the time.

Keep in mind, that JT is still pretty young. Not even 24, I think. He has plenty of time.

Does it mean that JT makes close to half a million dolllars a year?

Rumor has it, that JT is on a First Division contract so that could be an accurate ballpark.

That's the rumor I heard as well. I've got two sources that say he's making £5K plus a week, which makes him pretty pricey in the 2nd or 3rd division.
