Invader Zim finds net in the 75th in what more or less is a route for HSV II.

Wow, this would be a bad loss for Osnabruck and Enochs.

They were leading the table a good bit of the year, and now looks like they are going to miss out on promotion.

Surprising they were so flat today (lost 4-2, after being down 4-0)

Zimmerman has been productive so far- 3 goals in 600+ minutes (or the equivelent of 7 full games on the field, approximately).

That's a decent/good scoring rate, especially given his youth. Rock on, Van Nisterzimm!

A description of Zimmerman's goal. Can any German speakers translate?

But the true shocker is that fact that Feilhaber came out of this one card free. That's a rarity these days.

In the 76th minute, Cannizzaro found Zimmerman, and the US National player*
scored with a precise shot from the edge of the penalty box for 4-0

The Osnabrueck players appeared already resigned to losing at that point.

    * I guess they mean Youth, but its confusing

Of the 400+ rostered players in BL3 North, Preston is the 6th or 7th youngest.

95%+ of the players are a couple years older at least.....in most of those cases several years

Well, that was a bad loss for us, but not unexpected.

The team plays horrible since the winter break is over and does not deserve to play in Bundesliga 2 next season. Anyway, the season is pretty much over now for us. Another year in the Regionalliga will be our destiny.

    Unfortunately, the coach will stay.

A nice sidenote: Joe Enochs played his 357th league game for us, which means that he equaled the existing record for most league games played for VFL Osnabrück. That one was established by our former goalkeeper Uwe Brunn. One more match to go and Joe is the new and only record holder. Needless to say that he already is a legend over here.

Which one is a better team - Osnabrück or Most?

Maybe he doesn't exactly understand and thinks their like Pokeman cards or something. Collect 'em, trade 'em get all 38!

Or he just likes seeing his name in the box score any way he can.

Why is the guy in the purple jersey slapping the referee's ass?

And what happened to Feilhaber's Fro? That shaven head is unacceptable! :)

(So many yellows) Maybe Benny just wants to be a referee, and this is his Freudian way of expressing it?

I never figured that he'd turn out to be such a hard man.

Hopefully all the yellows he's picking up are for tactical reasons that help the team and not just simply dumb fouls.

Actually, It's likely a function of a couple things.

    (1) A clear weakness of Benny during his 1st team days....was his lack of 'bite' in certain situations. He'd make a great skillful tackle (or even a hard tackle), but then have a fairly wimpy effort another time.

Maybe the club has said something, or maybe Benny just thinks he needs to work on it to get ahead (I certain do), but it might explain him channeling his inner Mastroeni at the moment

    (2) He's pissed about his situation. Always a possibility.

    (3) Yellow cards, suspensions are pretty meaningless at BL3. Is it really going to matter to his career? probably not. So incentive for him to whack a few along the way...

Depends on your point of view.

P.S.: I'm sooooo glad we will finally get a 3rd Bundesliga in 2009. That funny BL3 abbreviation will actually start to make sense then :D.
