Howard: Everton at LOSC Lille Europa Lg 10/23

Lille starting Origi up top in a 4-5-1/4-3-3. Origi is off to Liverpool next season so maybe there is a chance that Lille goes in for Jozy.

 

Everton's defense holding firm so far; Howard hasn't had anything to do in the first 3 mins.

Howard just booted out a backpass not ideally. He still hasn't had anything to do in 10 mins. Baines blocked a sharp angle shot.

 

He's currently bleeding from a cut above the eye. Everton with 10 temporarily.

 

Besic gets a yellow for Everton for a dangerous play to break up a counter.

 

Howard comes out to smother a ball that Origi was chasing.

Origi actually seems to be playing on the wing quite often.

 

Eto'o gets the ball caught under him. He had a 1 on 1 vs the keeper otherwise.

 

Everton keep trying to play out of the back. Unfortunately their centerbacks are Sylvain Distin and Phil Jagielka.

 

OK, I am outta here. Hopefully Everton keep the clean sheet. They only have 1 in the league this season.
