    This was in today's SoccerAmericaDaily emailing:

    "There are people writing stories that have no basis or foundation. These guys read that crap and it's silly. .. I'm not involved in any of this and I'd prefer not to comment. It's a distraction to [the MetroStars]. We're doing good things here and we have some big matches coming up."

    I'd be very pleased to hear that if I was a MetroStars fan. It shows he's unflappable and a very focused individual, and you need that in the Champions League. :D
