Well most of those games were before the hiatus

If he gets in form now, we win. Our team is stacked. We just need goals. If he is in form, we are the best team in the world

Benz a legend. We need him to carry us to the title in this last stretch. It would be great for his legacy to be able to attribute this season's title to his goals after playing second fiddle for so many years. He would deserve it.

Anyways...long way to go. Keep banging them in!

The Benz/Hazard connection is scary in terms of potential.

Add an additional goal scorer from the right side to that to make a trio and we're set for another 2-3 years.

He's 32,33 in December. Needs 47 more goals for 4th place, would be quite a feat.

Yeah, if you ignore Real Madrid's abysmal offense (except Benzema & Hazard).

So albeit 2/3s or even 2/2 of the offense...we are abysmal there lol

We are abysmal there when your boy goes on his sucky long stretches. If he is in form, we are hard to beat. Our midfield and defense is great and we are a very well balanced team

To be honest, this is also due to Hazard being such an influence on the left side.

We missed him for months to begin the season and Benzema carried to load. We missed him for months after his injury and Benzema couldn't keep up the pace.

It's unfair to put everything on Benzema.

Bale is one of the highest paid and we can't even get his ass to break a sweat.

Hey maybe if Benzema had more help we could see him find the consistency he had last season. We can't just expect him to do it by himself.

At least now he has consistent help on the left side in Hazard.

I love Bens and yes, Hazard's absense and lack of fitness left us with a very limted offense and extremely dependent on Benz.

But this is not the first time he goes through stretches. He does that almost every season

But when he is in form, there is not a striker in the world I'd rather have and that includes Lewandowski. Especially not for this team.

I am feeling good about our chances this season. Just gotto stay healthy

Eh, Benzema is still great & impactful even when he is scoreless because his game is so much more well-rounded than just goals. He still creates plethora of chances and hockey assists that doesn't shows in Livescore. Which he did like against Eibar a week ago for instance. Benzema was Real Madrid's best player until they started to be conservatively during 2nd half.

I just hate it when he starts to play on the left wing, if he actually played in the middle he would be of more use.

However, I do think Benzema needs an another productive forward next to him.

This season, Benzema has 30 goals contributions. Just look at the rest of Real Madrid & loannes.

Benzema ALONE has been responsible for 40% of Real Madrid's goals in LaLiga.

He is in his groove right now, if he can win us La Liga and have a couple of magic moments in the CL, we might be talking about a BD'or season here.

I think you need to look at Lewandowski's numbers.

Sergio Ramos has been great. He could be challenging for the Ballon D'or if anything, of course depending on what happens end of this season

My argument is that it's the Bundesliga. The tie breaker would have to be the CL.

He has 11 goals in the CL as well.

He's on 49 goals in 42 games. It's absolute insanity to talk about anyone else this year regardless.

Unfortunately, the Ballon D'or doesn't have a definitive scale when it comes to how important trophies or numbers are. One year numbers are important, the next year it's trophies.

If Benzema leads us to La Liga and the CL despite having inferior numbers I could see him winning it.

Its all about media hype, and Lewandowski has always been unfairly not the focus of media attention. A good CL run for them makes him a strong candidate too.

with the break in the middle it will be very hard to predict the win.
I would not be surprised if messi gets it.
I think Benzema have a black stain (whether justified or not) and he won't get the votes.
    I would probably say Salah.
