Just to get some opinions, how do you think the aquisitions by the Revs will affect the team? i think that if they are placed in the correct situations, we will fare well. your takes on Noonan, Westfield, Reis, Singer.

I think it's a mistake to ask about "new players" without adding Joseph, Nowak and Joe Max Moore.

I think Nowak will be exceptional (though he'll probably miss 1/3rd of the season unless you're lucky). I think Joe Max Moore, Nowak and Twellman will mesh superbly (beyond alittle "get acquainted" games at the begining of the season). I think Joseph will make your team and be a solid reserve who pairs well with Kante (assuming Llamosa isn't re-signed). I think Noonan will make your team this year but contribute little. I think Westfield probably won't make your team. I think Singer makes your team only in a developmental slot OR if one of your top two keepers is unavailable for most of the season. I think if Reis doesn't win a starting spot at the beginning of the season OR isn't reassured he's got a shot to start, he may walk or demand a trade.

Summary: great job acquiring veteran talent. The draft choices however will make no meaningful contribution this year.

always loved Joe-Max. Always welcome on my team!Noonan had about zero chance IMHO. Typical college player. Medicre skill, not especially fast. I will be shocked if he is still in the league one year from now. I said the same thing about that forward last year. The guy was so slow-I can't remmeber his name, but I couldn't believe a guy that slow was playing pro soccer.

I origianlly meant new players to the league, excluding veterans such as Moore, Nowak, and Joseph. sry for the misunderstanding

one problem craig, Joseph is new to the league. He was drafted by the Revs last year, they just never signed him.

Pat Noonan - will see part-time duty off the bench as a back up at both forward an in the midfield with marginal success - 13 games, 1 goal, 3 assists

Dimelon Westfield - fourth forward will see occassional playing time in late game situations - 8 games, 2 goals, 1 assist

Kyle Singer - won't see the field all year. He'll be signed the Developmental Roster.

Shalrie Joseph - surprise of the season. He'll be the starter in the middle of our defense by the end of the season - 23 games, 4 goals, 3 assists

Matt Reis - Backup goalkeeper will see spot duty in order to keep Adin Brown healthy - 11 games, 1.46 GAA, 6-4-1.

Peter Nowak - starting attacking midfielder will miss some time due to injuries, but will be healthy in time for the playoffs. - 19 games, 4 goals, 6 assists

Joe-Max Moore - starting forward will be an effective partner to Taylor Twellman - 26 games, 11 goals, 6 assists

Pretty good predictions MM. I'd agree right down the line.

Marshall Leonard - you see any minutes/points for him?

I just want someone, anyone, to push Franchino for that left back!
