I see. BD, why does Brazil have such youth academies that they can send players straight from Sao Paulo, Internacional straight to AC Milan, Inter, Manchester United, etc... Their league is all world cup winner quality.
First of all, Brazil is such a big country and with football being a big tradition over there, they are bound to produce good youngsters and potential superstars. That is why a lot of scouts look towards Brazil for youth players, because they have a higher chance of finding a hidden gem or future superstar than in most other countries. Which also leads to very few scouts coming to Bosnia. We are a new country, coming after a war, with a below-average league so they probably won't think of us when they are looking for youth stars.
names are also a huge part. muhamed islamovic will get no where as far as Rivaldo Silva even though they are the same talent level.
They are only 30,000 capacity. Hmm, we need the population to grow. Lets open the immigration door for Asians and Africans!
I say this should be the standard for our Premijer Liga teams, as of now - 25,000 - Teams who have made it to Europe in the last three years. 15,000 - teams in the top 4-8 consistently through the last three years. 10,000 - teams in the 9-14 spot consistently the last three years. Newly promoted - keep their current stadium After this, if a team improves or gets a great fan-base, they can always rennovate their stadium if needed. And the reason I put the last three years is so it wasn't a one-off and they are consistently a good team, meaning people will show up to their matches. And obviously, newly promoted teams are likely to do pretty bad in their first year/not have a lot of publicity. Also, all teams except 25,000 stadium-teams should make their tickets at very cheap prices to sell the tickets. Teams like Sarajevo, Zeljeznicar, etc. already have people showing up to the games so they could even raise their prices just a bit.
Dude there's not one entity controlling stadium production and who gets bigger stadiums.. that's unreal and bordering full fledged communism.. and even if that was the case, they wouldn't base it all off on the last 3 years
How much would our teams get if we reached the EL group stage, for example? Also, with the money from the WC 2014, I'd use the money to put into Bosnian youth academies.
If we reached the group stage of the Europa League with one of our teams, they would receive 1 Million Euros (might be wrong calculations though, lol).
Bunp. With new stadiums being built/getting ideas for new stadiums, the Liga could increase the attendance. So many people would come out to a new Grbavica Stadion if it were built. Hopefully some of those coming out for the first time will fall in love with the team and increase the number of manijaks.
