I learned that u always wear one size down when buying kangaroo leather boots, I wear size 9.5 in shoes bought my manias in 9. THe boot fits well but my toe is about half an inch from the tip of the boot. I'm afraid if I lift my toe to far up that the leather and the outsole will seperate. Should I upgrade to 9.5, the 9 fit really well but I don't know if there to tight. THanks
quoted from an outside source I personally wear what fits perfect. my experience with adidas/diadora is that they run 1/2 size larger then most manufacturers, with nike/lotto (except for nike mercurial vapor) they are true to size
I wear my boots with my toes right at the end of the shoe. It's a very snug fit and it gives a better touch on the ball. If you're worried about the boots messing up because of your feet...youd better not spend so much money on boots and buy some cheaper ones.
I wear my boots very snug and let them strech to fit the shape of my foot as long as they are leather, most microfiber boots dont have any give to them so you can't really get away with trying to pack it in a half of a size too small( except with the Vapor at least that shoe does strech a bit). Its all in what feels the best on your foot as well, some people like to have a little toe room while others would rather have there boots almost hurting their feet. The only thing i can say for them being too tight is if it hurts your feet after a few weeks of breaking them in then they are most likley too small
Leave a little room for the big toe From personal experience, I would go with the correct size instead of a size down. I also thought you should go a size down when buying shoes made out of kangaroo. I bought a pair of Nike Air Intenationals (with a kangaroo upper) in a size 12 instead of my usually size 13's and paid for it. My big toes killed me for 2/3 of the season. I even ended up bruising my nail plate and lost the nail on my left big toe (It's grown back now). The shoes finally stetched to fit, but it was not fun breaking them in. It may work for some people, but as for myself I will stick with buying my size. This is not to say that you shouldn't get a boot with a snug fit, but be carefull if you buy a size smaller. I would make sure that you have enough room let you big toe lay flat. If you're afraid to lift your big toe because you think the shoe might tear, then your show is probably to small- IMHO.
I need some advice about the toenail thing. I repeatedly hurt the nail on my right big toe so that it's all black now (got stepped on and things). People say that it's gonna come off cause it's dead. I was wondering what's gonna happen if it comes off? How long does it take to grow another one? And can you play soccer during that time?
that thing happened to my toe nail. One day I was swimming and I realized it was dangling around, it was annoying me so I just ripped it right off. It bled for a bit and felt kind of weird but I could still play soccer. I can't remember how long it took to grow back completely, like 1 and a half months? I can't remember but it isn't anything serious really it just comes off hurts for a bit and grows back.
I guess it depends how badly it's brusied. If it's all black from bleeding under the nail then the nail will probably end up coming off. My nail ended up coming off and it took about 2-3 months to grow back completely. It still looks a little weird. I was still able to play soccer, even though my toe was very sore. Basically I just wrapped it up in guaze to help protect the tender part on top. I also made sure to keep the area on top of my toe very clean. This is just my experince, I'm not a doctor, you may want to go to a doctor to have it looked at.
when is right, the toe nail will fall off no bleeding etc. And you just grow a new one that's all How have people been breaking in their kangaroo leather boots? They might have a significance in fitting. I soak mine in warm water for about 20 minutes, and then wear them around for 20 minutes. When looking for a boot, it's most important (for me anyways) that I have minimal room between my toes and then toe of the boot. Try different models on. So far the Mania's have the least amount of room in the toe but at the same time don't hurt my feet.
