What I did is calculate 27,000 X 30, which is about the average counting guest, etc. I think that the average fan paid at least 30 dollars. Having said that I think we made around $810,000 plus parking, food stands etc.. What is your figure?.
27,000 x $25 avg. ticket = $675,000 27,000 x $5 avg. profit per fan on concessions and merchandise = $135,000 27,000 / 3 avg. people per car = 9,000 cars x $10 parking fee (I don't know; just guessing) = $90,000 Total = $900,000 Just a rough estimate but compared to what they would have taken in at the Rose Bowl, it certainly is nice. Obviously, this doesn't include any prorated part the signage, luxury box fees and naming rights. Murf
How many of these tickets were guests of the galaxy or HDC and received free tickets? As nice as it is to pull in all of this money, there are now all of the stadium operating expenses on top of it. I dont know exactly how it is working since the stadium isn't actually owned by the "Galaxy", but my guess is that it will be atleast a few seasons before a profit is actually turned on the stadium...
What this "We" White man.... Unless your name is Anschultz "We" didnt any more than a kick-ass soccer match and a good time.
