Hooooowww muuucccchhh doooessss ittt coooosssttt to puuuuut uppp an ad for my blog heeerrreee atttt BigSoccer...like all the other various ads for the blogs.
They're not very interesting, they don't draw a lot of comments, they don't seem very likely to draw first time or chance visitors back to the site, and I doubt many long time users find them at all compelling. It's a very strange choice, to put them front and center every day.
I don't mind the blogs, I actually like seeing more than ManU or Real Madrid game threads on the frontpage. Can't you find some bloggers that talk about more than MLS though? Maybe get a blogger that focuses on each of the major leagues in the world?
Do they get paid by BS? I don't see the ads so whatever. Bill Archer isn't too bad, sometimes a little too biased though.
Bill's blog is pretty good. Every now and again MM10Shirt has something interesting. I don't care for Looney's all that much though.
