    Seen?

It was always unrealistic to expect a Saudi club give up a player for free..that said I don't think €15-20m would have broken the bank, it's a very long season and injuries are bound to happen

That's some interesting news about Ceballos..perhaps promoting Martins paves the way for his desire to leave.

I think Al Nassr will want 25-30 ME they paid to City. It's Ronaldo's team and probably serious about winning given he was in tears after they lost cup final.

There were some reports that he has a clause to nullify his contract. Either way, I highly doubt he'll give up all that money to take what we'll offer, so I don't see this as feasible although he'd be a great signing given the situation. Pretty much resigned to the idea this is the squad we're carrying into the season, which is fine. We can reassess in the winter.

Just hope there are no surprise big exists that come in August as have been the case in the past.

As fans, yes but the winter transfer market doesn't exist for RM.

If ACLs to both our starting CBs didn't get the club moving in January, nothing will.

Militao ACL happened in August. We still didn't make the move though summer window was open for two more weeks.

We signed Brahim in winter transfer window though could have got him for free after 6 months. It's about the players club likes than a window.

The club has shown that they won't make rash moves in the market for the sake of making moves. Quite honestly, when other clubs smell blood in the water, that's when you end up making mistakes in the market that are hard to recover from.

Appreciate that it's early days still, but he's beginning to look like the LB version of Odriozola...

It's from Spurs local media. If anything, them trying to show Levy is Levy if anyone goes for their starting players.

If we thought finding a CB now was difficult what do we expect we're going to have to deal with in the winter market?

Winter market is good if we find someone in South American football. Libertadores ends in November and Brazilian Serie A also ends around then.

I think 50 M we spent on Militao and Mendy is still the top range club is willing to spend on defenders. That's only possible if we sign from South America. Porto/Benfica moved to higher buyout clauses from Militao days.

Basically gotta scout next Hincapie, Militao, Romero, Bremer, Murillo from South America itself rather than buying them from European clubs later on when they are expensive.

Alaba and Rudiger were proven veterans around 28-29 age for bosman, but no such players available in next few years.

I’m personally not a fan, at all, he makes the small things look hard, not trustworthy as a defender.

I don’t think it’s early days. He’s had one full season as the direct back up to Mendy, it’s enough to make a judgment. He’s lacking in confidence, don’t think he’ll ever feel comfortable at this level.

MARCA saying Guardiola want Rodrygo as Alvarez replacement. As I know Flo, if City bid at least 100M he will sell

Flo is a business man.. he likes transaction’s. If a good offer will come, he will sell. We saw that in the past

City are selling the player to get ahead of FFP, not because they don't like the player. The press will of course create stories about massive transfers because it drives interest.

If City would want to replace Alvarez they would look into much cheaper options than that.

And Alvarez was back up option. Rodrygo is likely a RM starter next season.

Isn't Julian Alvarez a striker? At least that is how I see him.

Anyways, I rate him as a talent but €75M for him is crazy

€75m with and additional €20m in add ons!

So that’s another striker Atletico have bought who should theoretically be elite. They’re feeling the pressure of not actually having a proper reliable striker, without one their style of football is useless.

And Morata definitely isn’t that guy outside random stints here and there.
