Yeah, he was a decent enough player that got way too much of a spotlight/put under the magnifying glass because of the "Zidanes Y Pavones" phrase.

Yeah Vallejo was captaining Zaragoza at 18 years old wasn’t he, that was big. He was part of our trident young Spanish talent coups along with Ceballos and someone else I’ve now forgotten.

Vallejo was actually decent. He just was always injured.

Vallejo also had a good loan spell at Frankfurt in 2016-17. Sadly had bad injuries pretty much every season starting with Zaragoza days.

Vallejo is my boy! I hope he shows us something this season when he gets minutes!

He'd cost 100 ME range whenever Inter decides to sell anyways. Could also end up staying at Inter throughout his prime like Barella wants to. Inter are doing well under Simeone Inzaghi.

I would love a Vallejo redemption season similar to what Joselu just had.

I really like Vallejo to have some shiny moments in this kit. Depression is hard. I will root for him.

I'm all in for Vallejo if somehow Carlo manages to salvage whatever potential is left from him.

He doesn't need to be world class. He just needs to be reliable.

That being said, I still prefer a CB signing. Whether a one year patch up job or a hidden gem. I don't trust Alaba this season.

I think he's practically finished as a player. We'd do him favor to pay him out his contract and put him on the path to go back to school, he's still young enough to graduate and do something with his life.

AS has been throwing a lot of shit at the wall recently and they're begging for something to stick.

People underestimate how crucial Kroos used to be in defence too. Used to break counters with some great interceptions. Now we’ve lost him and Nacho already, Alaba can’t be trusted, so in such a situation , one injury to the starting CBs and we’re done!
Should have tried for Laporte or Inigo Martinez.

Inigo is a terrible defender. If Camavinga is on the bench still, we are more vulnerable defensively in big games. Kroos added great value as deep lying playmaker. His defensive effort is that of any average midfielder.

Good and all, but what we're currently doing is basically telling Tchouameni that he'll play a lot of minutes as a defender.

Haha. The majority of people slagged Kroos off for his defensive attributes last season and now all of a sudden he was underestimated in the defensive duties.

I'm shocked that people are trying to come around on Vallejo. This guy has played in 9 Liga games in 3 years. He has had 1 start in more than 2 years and that was for a relegation side.

This guy played a total of 105 minutes in all competitions in the last 400 days.

This is not the Jesus Vallejo we bought a whole 9 years ago! He's already 27 and his professional career is likely over once his contract is up. I don't know how we handed him such a long contract.

Question is, are the people saying that, the same people saying the contrary? If so, who are they specifically?

Otherwise, anyone could just cut and chop random comments to form an agenda without substantiating.

Well, if the club isn't releasing him. And they arent't gonna sign any CB or use Castilla, might as well for some "dead" matches if he's fit.

Would be poetic if he has some form of redemption

I was just wishing Vallejo well, he's one of our players and he needs our support.
