I have a feeling that we might see Modric a lot as a playmaking DM a lot this season. And not as an 8.
Ok so we got the drummer, guitar and keyboard, but no lead singer. This Real Madrid "revolution" aka Galactico 3.0 is incomplete without CR7.
We will end up with Laporte with deal around 15mil. Its good deal if u ask me ,kinda wanted him even before he went to saudi. With Militao, Rudi and Laporte we will have time to somehow get Saliba or some new world class CB in 2years... Lets be serious guys James , Pepe , Ramos , Hermoso that ship is long gone... If James had a good work ethic he had a talent to become World class, but instaid he chose to party and ZZ was right to bench him. He had one good (first) season and we won nothing with him as starter. He had his chance and he blow it, its done... The team was much more balanced with Di Maria under Ancelotti and Casemiro with Zidane.
Not a Real Madrid transfer policy. I dont recall a single vet returning unless they are a loanee or buyback.
Unpopular opinion but I'm not against Ramos coming back for one last dance lol. Never heard of him until Yoro snubbed us. Would rather we take our time and scout properly for next summer.
Won't mind him as a midfield signing next summer if Modric and Ceballos leave. 🚨 JUST IN: Bayern fear that Joshua Kimmich could end up being a target for Real Madrid. His contract ends in 2025. @Rodra10_97 pic.twitter.com/WSILk64os5— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) July 24, 2024
10m more would not have changed anything once MU came in with 60m, guaranteed starting role, much higher wages, and a good JM level bonus.
Hincapié is not a bad option. I've watched him enough to see there is something there. He's young, fast, good on the ball and versatile as he can fill in as an LB. He's positioning is somewhat questionable though. Also, he's pretty aggressive, which could be a problem with Spanish referees. Getting him as a depth option for now might not be a terrible idea, although Bayer might not be keen on letting him go.
Don't think Leverkusen will sell Hincapie if they sell Tah to Bayern this summer whose contract expires in 2025. Hincapie's advanced stats. He has a contract until 2027.
🚨 JUST IN: Mats Hummels is attracted to the idea of joining Real Madrid, but he is NOT an option for the club. @diarioas pic.twitter.com/QAKfgxy6rD— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) July 24, 2024 🚨 Real Madrid are fully confident in their defense. Antonio Rüdiger & Éder Militão are available, Tchouaméni is an alternative, David Alaba will return in November & Jesús Vallejo is seen as a ‘signing’. @diarioas pic.twitter.com/CzzJjINa0l— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) July 24, 2024 🚨 Mats Hummels is not an option for Real Madrid as he doesn’t fit their ‘criteria’. If an opportunity comes up & it fits the club’s criteria, Real Madrid will move. @diarioas pic.twitter.com/JesPAhBUZY— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) July 24, 2024
If Manure get De Ligt too i'm not so sure about that guaranteed starting role with Lisandro already there and highly rated by them, and both of them way more experienced, i think he'll have to fight for a place
Dortmund low block was perfect for Hummels with his lack of pace. We played like that only against Man City away. Hummels was already struggling in Bayern system by 2019. Alaba wasn't slow pre-ACL. Dunno how he will look this season post injury given his age.
I've been hearing from my Portuguese friends that Antonio Silva is indeed a great talent BUT Goncalo Inacio is the bigger talent between the two. As we were discussing football I mentioned that we need a CB and both of them were bang on Inacio. I have no idea how good or bad both of them are to be fair.
Silva has 100 ME buyout so we won't take that kind of risk. Benfica will someone pay close to that figure like with Enzo and Felix. Inacio has buyout in 60 ME range, I think.
Inacio is ok. Good on the ball and with distribution, decent in duels, slow on the turn. Don’t think he is worth 60 million.
🚨 JUST IN: Laporte is an option that has been viewed by Real Madrid. The player would be willing to take a huge pay cut to return to Europe. But Al-Nassr is an obstacle. @ellarguero pic.twitter.com/fC70UfbtQp— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) July 24, 2024
He's got a ton of miles on him with a style of play that is absolutely reckless. I'd be very very careful.
