lol, there aren't really any mods left, this place use to get moderarated but have been told many times that shit takes and clear trolling drive the engagement up.... Were here kinda reluctant to read Khan and Celitos 7 page discussion about what RM should do (lol) but are told to hush hush.... Meh... Name more than 11 player Xabi has said could have or he would like to have in an Important role.... Lol... Every damn word this guy says man... And people here talk about the Spanish press being a pain in the ass... Can't believe what you would say about this irrelevance of a post if you caught someone else saying it... Also it's not gonna be interesting... Vini, Mbappe, Bellingham, valverde, new LB if bought, husein, Trent and courtious are pretty much starters.... That leaves 3 starting spots... I bet they are given to either rudiger and the other two to either guler, touchameni, camavinga or Rodrygo if he is still here... Depending on the opposition. Its actually quite redundant.
There was a very obvious one, but he's off to Arsenal after almost publicly begging us to make a move.
I admit, Xabi's "we are not thinking about transfers" gave me "we don't need any players, we have the best team in the world" flashbacks.
I watched couple of VfB Stuttgart matches and can say Stiller nowhere near kroos, notch over ceballos
Unlike the LB position, I think theres no strong consensus on reinforcing a controller CM. The stars will need to align for major deals to happen, which is quite tricky With Xabi, I think there’s still hope that Bellingham, Tchou, Camavinga, and Valverde can step-up in a well defined system, especially with major upgrade in ball progression across the backline Then there’s Guler, who has all the right ingredients, but need to strengthen his engine to be more consistent & assertive. He will likely view this as a make/break year for him here & understandably so There was also news that we have lined up a transfer of Ouazane (16 yo) from Ajax, whos looking promising & hopefully can contribute in a few years Given all the above & 2026 World Cup looming, it only makes sense for us to buy someone who can contribute right away (eg Stiller) replacing a key member in our roster (most likely Rodrygo). The club will probably be patient, monitor the market for opportunistic deals in current & Jan transfer windows. Base case probably = to make a call next year, when: 1) theres stronger consensus to invest, 2) Stiller becoming a serious option as 36ME release clause activates, and 3) see if other candidates emerge from World Cup
Stiller is in no way realistic unless we massively overpay both him and Stuttgart. Hard pass for now.
Well that settles it then. I do think a season is not long enough to make a judgement on a player. Stiller gives me vibes of Yoro. Flavour of the month who might turn out good.
That's a valid perspective. It's one thing to build up a playing system with your team, but the players also need to develop synergy and understanding with their teammates, and that takes time. You can lose that if you constantly keep mixing it up. But with that said it's only 24 players on the squad next season, so if implemented early, it can probably (hopefully) work. Plus, most of these players have been playing together for years.
Great. If he's already a notch above Ceballos, and we played our best football last year when Ceballos was healthy and in form, I will take it. Every scout out there thinks Stiller's ceiling is very high. I'd say it could be worth banking on it. What, 50 or 60 mil? After a deep run in CWC, with the extra money? I say that's a no brainer. Perhaps I've become a victim of hype, but with every video I watch of him I love his skill-set even more. I think he would be a superb fit with this team.
Players usually turn those down via their agents for various reasons. It's also a matter of FFP and evaluation, it's become a surefire way to land in front of a judge.
It can be done with different mechanisms but the substance is that they get a player with a greater value in a vacuum more cheaply. Warren would be the perfect addition for our midfield and I wouldnt mind paying a crazy fee for him.
I just think the situation requires a huge amount of cooperation between two sets of clubs, agents and players and our relationship with PSG is as far away from that as it gets. It's funny how political football has become. When Sane switched agents it completely tanked his chances to stay at Bayern for example. Even though he had a prior agreement with them.
People throwing out Kroos comparisons like Kroos was the norm not the exception. Yall need to relax. As for Stiller, I have not seen him play at all to be honest, looks like an interesting player, though I assume the price would be really high. We have players to move as well, if we get Carreras, one of Fran or Mendy needs to go. Im concerned about Vini, he's been shite for a bit now.

You can just put the TROLL Khan on ignore. the real problem is that you can't put on ignore a Moderator.
Fair enough. Makes me wonder if it was worth crashing our relationship with them and never be able to get one of their players because of the pursuit of Mbappe. The sprain that kept him out for what 2-3 weeks? Are you serious? Hes 19 ffs. Perfect profile.
