It’s really crazy that he’s 32 years old now. Time flies. Has he signed for Monaco yet? Think that was the rumor.
Sliding doors with Pogba had he not gone to Manure. Totally ruined his career. Pogba in the 2018 NT was unplayable- that version of him was top top top.
I know you joking, but seriously, we need creative type of midfielder in our roster. We lost 2 maestros in past few years, Kroos and Modric and we did not replace them with anyone. . Call me old fashioned, but i still believe that midfield is most important in teams roster All these signings were great, but we did not sign most important positrons yet, which is creative midfielder or ideally few
He was a player of moments. Those moments of brilliance would make people think he was that player for 90 mins but he was pretty overhyped
Im only joking because hes extremely injury prone. If he was not, it would have been serious: he would be what the doctor ordered in terms of short term boost of creative depth in midfield. Hes mature and humbled by all of his experiences now and he can add a lot to this team. Too bad hes made of glass at this point.
I've said it a lot of times but people misunderstand it. Just because he was big and athletic, Manchester United, Mourinho included, tried to make him into a one man midfield player when he just wasn't that at all. At both Juve and France he had a midfield around him that took care of a lot and focused on what he does well. I would argue that Pogba only played the way he should have, at Juventus on Club level. Every single coach at Manchester United felt like he could play deeper because of his physical attributes when that wasn't the case at all. One of the greatest what ifs is imagine Barcelona do use their right to sign him by matching Manchester Uniteds offer. What would he have become there?
Oh no, please, take your time to recover from this tragedy before taking on even more emotional labor. I advise affirmations and a mental health plushy. You've been here for over 10 freaking years, what, 15 even. Seems to me that it doesn't bother you that much.
Physical attribute is overrated. I'll take little guys with high IQ football Modric/Vitinha over big guys anyday.
That's why imo mods shouldn't be too involved in forum dsicussions. It's like playing against 11, but their RB is also the linesman. They could have at least made alts and be sneaky with it.
We have that here for him right now with Tchouameni, Valverde and Bellingham (the #8 version). He would be a dream even at 32 if he was not an injury waiting to happen.
I know it’s not possible to bring him here, but it would be fun to see if it would work. Your right. Pogba at his best when he had a Kante or pure ball winning DM next to him to take off the pressure. Pogba could distribute and pass so well. He was joy to watch spraying balls around like it was effortless. If he had gone to the right environment he would have been BDor level. But he chased money. I’m sure he’s still happy with how his career turned out.
That Juventus midfield was class even without Pogba in it. Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio, with the latter two in their prime.
You know i'm not a fan of the player but i'm very much a fan of weird career revival stories, so i'd be curiously in for it.
There is still time for redemption. Everything that happened to him had to have changed him and taught him humility, which is what he needed all along. Just do the deepest most sophisticated medical exam on him. IF he passes it, POGBACK BABY
Definitely, plus i feel like what Pogba wanted to be, Bruno probably did better, so i'd argue they upgraded slightly. But that might be my personal bias cause i think Bruno is a hell of a football player.
Pogba made me become more active in BigSoccer. People held me to the same standards as slave owners for criticizing a black player back then. It was TRULY very amusing. I feel I've made people more understanding of my point of view overtime and see that my no bullshit approach has nothing to do with racism and prejudice. I hope so.
There's a slight window into a player investing a lot of thought into social causes and having a decline in performance, Rashford, Pogba, Vini. Maybe the best option for players peace of mind and performance is to live carefree and in luxury.
Whatever happens i truly hope he joins a good team where he can still have a third act in the sport. I'd love it. Going to MLS or elsewhere would be so deflating.
