Those opportunities don't show up every week, pros and cons either way. He seems to have a good attitude, personally I'd like to see him loaned out for a year or 2 and see regular playing time.
Loan would be his best option imo. I genuinely can't believe some of these posts that swear Endrick is garbage lol. Not sure what they're watching or if they're letting personal feelings get in the way but the potential is there. Heck he's already outscored Hazard's entire career at Madrid. But Madrid and Madrid under Carlo was a massive mistake. I think Bellingham did it the right way when it came to his career. Maybe Como under Cesc would be a good move? I'm not too sure what they need in terms of strikers though.
I don't know who the club should sign, but I do think a midfielder is a must. Not a single combination of the players we have worked for a whole season. It could be a case of basic incompatibility of specific skillsets of the players we have. One of them, perhaps even Valverde, should be sacrificed for this unknown player to make it a unit. Valverde isn't a DM, and if Bellingham needs to play due to a variety of reasons, we could arguably do better with a technically proficient volume passer and tempo setter than with another box-to-box.
Rodrigo Mora looked great the other day for Porto. Would hate to see PSG take away another portugese talent
That was low quality attempt from me to troll you when I said you hated him btw. I'm sorry about that.
Midfield and left back are obvious recruitment needs that don't need to be mentioned again. What I am really worried about is the attitudes of Vini and Rodrygo. I don't see any desire or intense focus. Both simply phoned in the game again. No desire to impress the new coach, nothing... they both look very ordinary. I know Rodrygo was playing on the RW...but still, show us something... I'm slowly being converted to the "sell Rodrygo" camp I was arguing against in here.... especially if it leads to a good chunk of cash to reinvest in a more hungry player. I don't see any hunger from either of them.... that's very worrying. At the highest level without that desire you need to have Messi/Zidane level talent to just cruise. Neither of them are that good. They seem kinda uninterested...
Truth is he's flashy and effective against small teams but completely disappears in any meaningful match.
Hes amazing but were loaded there. We made our choice with Arda and hes worth investing in for a few more years. Then if he doesnt cut it we can look to Mora or many other talents coming out in that position. Anyone following Paok's Giannis around here?
I think Perez is definitely going to buy a center back or a midfielder. The midfield screams for a passer and center back position is still a question mark with lots of old and injury returnees.
And if we get to CWC semi-final(51+- millions euros)/final(112+- millions euros) than we would buy MF?
I believe Perez won't make any major signings unless he sells a player first. Among the current squad, Rodrygo is the only realistic option who could command a significant transfer fee. Players like Alaba, Mendy, Garcia, Ceballos, or Brahim are unlikely to generate substantial income in the transfer market. I don't know about Militao. Real Madrid is more likely to keep Guler or Camavinga than Rodrygo. The rest of the team is untouchable. At this moment, we cannot get Benfica to sell their leftback. So, it will be tough to sign Stiller or Zubimendi (I have no idea if his transfer to Arsenal is done).
We can get Benfica to sell their LB we just want him for peanuts. Get the damn deal done unless we want Cama there full time.
50 ME in two installments is not peanuts lol. Benfica just delayed the deal to have him play for them in CWC. _____________ Real Madrid had an agreement with Benfica to pay for the release clause of Álvaro Carreras in 2 installments. Benfica said yes but they began to delay and they ended up registering him for the Club World Cup. Real Madrid are very angry. — @Carpio_Marca
I suspect Benfica wanted to get out of the group stages because of the money involved for progressing at the CWC, but that seems to be backfiring on them. I think they finish 3rd.
I think they are both looking ahead to next years world cup. Vini has already won 3 la liga's and 2 cl's, his legacy at the club is pretty much safe. However, if wins a wc and balon d' or his status goes beyond anything Mbappe or Bellingham can touch as legends and goats in the sport and shoots him into the all time legends and GOATS category with guys like R9, Zidane, Ramos, etc. Rodrygo probably also understands at this point his legacy is very much tied to Vinicius as well and "their" success will be "his" success. The club will also be better off if it can keep Vinicius happy in Madrid and see him win the WC/BdO. Perez also get to shower in the glolry of having been the clairvoyant who bet on Vini when he was skinny runt of a teenage talent and groomed him into a the man he is now which is not really something he can brag about with Mbappe, who will take full credit for whatever he achieves at this point in his career and leave Madrid looking like it was the desperate and obsessed reject who kept her legs open and was lucky enough to become wife number 3.
Can anyone compare Theo Hernandez with Carreras?I'm not sure that Carreras is better than Theo who seems available for just 30M€.Seems a good price and we get a experienced LB/WBL for couple of years.
