Would be a great success story if he could get some consistency out of him

We should wait until after the CWC before selling anyone except the clear deadweights like Alaba, Ceballos and to a lesser extent Militão.

I'm not going to lie, he left a bitter taste in my mouth during his disappearance. It wasn't injury and I doubt it was behind the scenes/family stuff as he had no problem posting pics with his girlfriend looking fine.

But I want him to stay and fight for his spot. I just didn't see anything last season that showed he should be a full-time starter under Xabi especially in games where Mbappe and Vini struggled.

The crazy thing is he didn't even have that big of a fall off stats wise. He had 24 goals and 11 assists the previous season we won the double and 21 goals and 12 assists this past season. Thats what people are calling bad.

If people can rave about Mbappe's 40 goals that didn't win us anything, I don't see why people scoff at Vini's contributions this season.

Why would something you don't even know leave such a negative feeling if you didn't already have that in your heart?

He didn't shaft the club. He didn't shaft Brazil.

This is why I feel athletes just need to do what is goof for them because had Rodrygo had 30 goals and 30 assists nobody would be telling him he sucks and needs to leave... in fact they would be angry at him if he wanted to go.

Yet here we have so many mad at him he wants to stay

Theres literally nothing in my post that says I want him gone. In fact its the opposite. I want him to stay and genuinely think he can be a beast...just not as a starter.

As for the negative feeling, Rodrygo literally disappeared and didn't play the last few games including an important clasico and he wasn't injured. That was some BS.

The first part I addressed your post. That second part I was speaking in general about the climate of this forum. You stated pretty clearly in the post I quoted and prior to it you want him to stay.

    Realistic one - inconsistent, underperforming
4x4 and co - He tracks back more than box to box players and he's actually Ronaldinho.

I like Rodrygo and am appreciative of his service to the club, but he can be so much better, and I hope to see that under Xabi. Happy he's staying.

Exactly, you got it. You're so damn clever. You should be running a country or something, big brain energy here.

Ramon says that everything indicates that the Mastantuono announcement will be tomorrow and it shouldn't delay much longer

In my opinion if we take every good month Rodrygo has had in a Madrid shirt in the past 6 years and combne them ,its still wont be enough to have a full great season ......

each season the guy has been invisible for most of the time and he plays A LOT but he never gets the shit that Di Maria got in 12/13 when he was poor i dont get it ......and Di Maria had great seasons something Rodrygo hasnt

Rodrygo would be a fantastic player to have off the bench. If only he realized it too. But I don't think he does

Ramon is probably one of the most legitimate sources for Real Madrid material.
If he is drawing blancks on rumors several days after they are all over the media it is probably because they have no substance.
