I don't know, don't ask me. He's the player that the club and Xabi apparantly have a strong interest in. Send an email to Juni's team regarding Rovella and suggest why he would be a much better fit and simpler acquisition than Stiller.
One report and silence doesn't suggest we can't sleep at night after seeing him, although I am sure Hendrix would disagree about that in a way.
History has taught us that we shouldn't solely refer to volume of stories / reports as a measure of interest.
Real Madrid & Xabi Alonso have agreed that the TOP midfield target needs to be a CREATIVE PLAYMAKER. They don't want a box-to-box midfielder or some other profile. @elmundoes 1925267381225505002 is not a valid tweet id Xabi Alonso wants Florian Wirtz at Real Madrid! The club LOVES Wirtz as well, and if Xabi decides after the Club World Cup, that the signing is absolutely NECESSARY, then things could happen. @elmundoes 1925267740266278990 is not a valid tweet id
Xabi Alonso wants Wirtz at Real Madrid. He's a player he completely trusts and a connector he believes can help improve his game. Real Madrid isn't considering anything until after the World Cup. If there's a failure, they might consider a move. 1925075583202988431 is not a valid tweet id Let me explain: Marca is heavily invested in information about Nico Williams. It features him on the front page and doesn't reveal the journalist behind the story. This usually happens to protect the source who provided the information (you can imagine that revealing the journalist gives clues about the source). That's why I think Marca has something, but if you ask me about my information, I must say what I know after consulting my sources. And they tell me there's nothing. 1925153192993595732 is not a valid tweet id 1925137531021996286 is not a valid tweet id
If Jude had been creative the club wouldn't have cared about other midfielders. A creative midfielder is now a necessity for us. The midfield has had a whole season to showcase their creativity but 40yo Modric is still the most creative out of the lot
Wirtz isn't a creative midfielder, he's an attacking midfielder. We need a midfielder who knows how to control the tempo of the game and distribute in the middle, not dribble and assist in the final third. But even this type of midfielder shouldn't be a regular starter but someone to take over from Modric or replace Ceballos in the hierarchy.
I haven't watched Wirtz that much but from what I have seen he is far better technically then our midfielders....kind of like a faster version of Isco the way he beats players A diamond formation with Tch,Fede,Wirtz and Jude could be money
Florian Wirtz is taking his time to make a decision on his future, as he knows Xabi Alonso is just arriving at Real Madrid. @elmundoes 1925277149713371289 is not a valid tweet id
Luka Modrić has NOT received any renewal offer from Real Madrid so far. His farewell could happen on Saturday. @miguelitocope 1925305141973901360 is not a valid tweet id
Real Madrid have decided NOT to offer Luka Modrić a renewal. It's a club's decision, not Xabi's. If nothing changes, Luka Modrić will play his last game at the Bernabéu on Saturday. @miguelitocope Per SER | •Nico Paz is emerging as an option for FIFA CWC. •RM are planning on triggering €8m clause. •His return will allow Xabi to test him in midfield before finally making a decision on his future. •Negotiations w/ Luka over new contract have ‘cooled’ down.
I hope we sign the 17 year old for 45 ME and leave the other two alone. Unless Xabi specifically wants Wirtz. Nico makes no sense though. We have excess of starters in that position already.
Wirtz would be great. One of the few available players that could upgrade our starting XI. The most common objection would be that he would be taking Jude’s and possibly even Arda’s spot on the field, pushing them back to where they are less effective. I think, though, that both are better deeper. Arda, in my opinion, would be best as a deep lying playmaker. I’ll leave it at that so as not to beat a dead horse further. In regards to Jude, call me crazy, but I think Xabi could have him play a role similar to how he had Frimpong play. While Jude is not as fast as Frimpong, he shares the ability to beat players off the dribble, create opportunities, and crash the goal when necessary. The one area of midfield play where Jude is not exceptional is passing, and a role similar to Frimpong’s would not require that. It would also allow him to utilize his defensive prowess more than a traditional attacking midfield role would. If TAA plays like Grimaldo, but on the right side, it makes perfect sense for Jude to play like Frimpong, but on the left side.
I don't think any coach has the freedom to take star players and move them around in positions they are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with.
