Grimaldo strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, "My dream is to return to Spain. It’s an idea I’ve had in my head for a long time . . . Would I like to play for Real Madrid? What I want is to play for the best teams in the world, and if that opportunity comes."
It seems like there is a contradiction in fans' expectations of the board not sufficiently preparing for three(!!) ACL and one meniscus tear in our defensive line, but then being worried about there not being enough room for players. Not to mention, we don't know the formation we will be playing and we don't know who is planning to be sold. Also, Nico Paz hype train starts here:
Okay but what does that have to do with Modric wanting to be the first sub and demands of playing time versus getting future players that time?

But I don't think he was even this year, until the injuries came left and right and midfielders were being played in defense. I think the plan was always to reduce his role significantly, and that should be the case here as well.
I feel like a broken record here, but Guler clearly was impacted by Modrics presence. Debate about Gulder and getting playing time at CM instead of RW and he shrank in matches is fine, but he clearly had reduced minutes because Modric was here. I don’t expect that to change for Guler or any other young midfielder, could be Paz or Camavinga for next season, especially if Xabi is under the cosh.
JFD: Since Carreras' presence in this Champions League season confirmed the full-back's growth, reports in Valdebebas have been positive about the Galician footballer, who could soon fulfill his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid's first team. https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-m...carreras-esperan-gesto-manchester-united.html
Half the board is a broken record with you. But I am tired of going back and forth because none of these points are valid. They are just not valid at all. Modric got his minutes this year because Tchouameni ended up a CB, Valverde a RB, and Camavinga was either injured or a LB. Modric was not part of the rotation to start the year. But he got into the rotation because we had no players. Carlo never saw Guler as a CM for 80% of the year, so you can take away Modric and it wouldn't have made a difference. Ceballos almost got 2000 minutes this year even though he was out injured for a good chunk. But no one is going to bring up Ceballos. We had no midfielders and Guler was not playing in a deep lying playmaker position. Carlo wanted to bleed in Guler slowly at right wing where he would have less responsibility. He should have gotten some minutes at CAM but Bellingham is eating all those minutes. Guler's biggest problem is that he should be getting some minutes at CAM but Carlo would rather play Bellingham into the ground. Guler was never competing for the deep midfield positions not because we had Modric but because Carlo never saw him there and would play anyone else but him in that position. So if you want to play Guler in that position, lets not just take away Modric, lets also chuck Ceballos, and Camavinga because this conversation is not about shoehorning a 40 yr midfielder into the roster (who by the way is still one of our better players), but removing any and all competition for Guler. Hell, why do you guys want Stiller.... just more compeition for Guler.
I think the distinction these two camps are where some think Modric played well, while myself and others included thought Modric didn’t and showed his age (especially Liverpool away). Modric looked fantastic against the Copa Del Rey minnows, because he’s class and when given time and space he’s able to do the passes but when he’s playing against real competition he physically can’t do it anymore.
I’m not sure Guler is fit for us .. he is a nice player. But we need stronger and much more stable players. We need players like Prime: Casemiro, Bale, Asencio as super sub, Isco in his good times.. I think Franco M can be that one ..
🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid are interested in Enzo Fernandez. @GoalBR pic.twitter.com/8f9BLOgWN0— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) May 20, 2025 What do u think about him ?
any reason why we have not made TAA deal public or why we are missing official communication on TAA transfer to realmadrid
Trying to reach an agreement with Liverpool so that they'd release him for CWC group stages. His Pool contract is valid until June 30.

Because Flo is asleep. I'm getting the Biden Vibe here like everything the club does is a step slow because of the extra steps it takes to make decisions on his "good days" and the inability to get anything accomplished on his bad ones. Like with Carlo, playing it game by game in the end until he either wins or loses a title. Then watch in horror as him and Xabi both move on without the club and make their own announcements. In all seriousness tho that's why we wait for the "comunicados" because until then nothing is official, though it does create the appearance that the club is the last to know about some of this stuff.
you seem to be the town drunk yelling in the middle of the night “the world is ending” waking everyone up.
Original source was Radio Marca which is disgustingly unreliable. Today they said Xabi asked the club for Wirtz again
Last free contract players cummunicado official: Alaba 28.5 Rüdiger and Mbappe 2.6 We should wait a bit
