According to 'Sky Sports', Martin Baturina, the Croatian midfielder for Dinamo Zagreb, has rejected an offer from Real Madrid. Los Blancos are suffering more than they should from the absence of a player like Toni Kroos, which has made Modric's role more important this season. This is why Madrid offered Croatian national team prospect Martin Baturina a five-year contract. However, this included a loan to a La Liga club for two seasons, something that has not convinced the midfielder, who is an admirer and follower of Luka Modric and who wants to establish himself in a top-level team and does not like the idea of going out on loan. Barça, Atlético and Manchester United are also interested in a player who, for the moment, does not want to follow in the footsteps of his idol.
Yeah these people are miserable One would think with how demanding they are they have to be the most successful in their respective careers in the world
Joaquin Maroto who's the only semi-reliable journo at AS. He also said in 2023 summer that Kane is not an option and RM will wait to sign Mbappe on bosman instead. _____ Madrid follows its strategic plan: in winter only Asencio and Fortea The club considers the January transfer window to be expensive and unreliable. It was never considered to bring back Ramos. Defense and midfield will be reinforced in the summer only unless there's another emergency before. Real Madrid have a strategic plan that will not change in the short term. The club has not signed any new players in the winter for five years, when Brahim arrived from Manchester City at the express request of the then coach, Santiago Solari. But Carlo Ancelotti has not asked for anyone and will not ask for anyone . The Italian is aligned with this medium-term plan and will wait until June to reinforce the defence with two full-backs, a centre-back and a midfielder. TAA and Davies are priorities as fullback signings and both unlikely to be available in January window. https://as.com/futbol/primera/el-ma...rategico-en-invierno-solo-asencio-y-fortea-n/
There are these things called LOANS that could possible be utilized to get the club through this injury crisis. Crazy I know.
I'd look to get Rafa Marin on loan. Best way to get some quality via loan is players not getting playing time due to competition at their clubs or quality players with personality conflict with coaches like Adebayor, Auba etc in the past. First division teams in top leagues won't have motivation to loan out starters comprising their season. Joselu was available on loan because Espanyol got relegated.
I don't mind looking to Castilla to fill the gap, but only if we actually play them. Asensio looked really good on Saturday, and he was coming up against Budimir who is usually a handful. Between him and Tchouameni, we might be OK while Alaba is eased back into the squad. I have no idea how Fortea is, but seems like Carlo doesn't either and isn't interested in finding out. If we don't play the youngsters and go the rest of the season with Fede at RB and Tchouameni at CB, then we are just asking for trouble.
Carlo mentioned Raul Asencio and Jacobo as first team players post Osasuna match thanking Raul for getting them ready while mentioned Fortea is "too young and probably not ready". Fortea plays for Real Madrid C as he's 17.
A loan deal happens when: - A young player that doesn't get a chance gets loaned out to an opportunity to play. - An old player with a big contract that doesn't play has to be offloaded elsewhere to get rid of his wages/attract a market to possibly move him I don't think the club falls as an ideal opportunity for either of those cases, maybe the second but I don't see the options on the market there. The main option discussed is buying somebody like Tah, but I don't feel like we'd like to trip Xabi Alonso over like that.
🚨 JUST IN: Real Madrid are interested in Evan Ndicka. @AbdellahBoulma pic.twitter.com/qEejilODWm— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) November 12, 2024
this guy is playing every game for 4 months now and Joselu still looked like more important player to the team than him .....what a failure
The names of Lukeba and Hato stand out, operations that in winter or summer will go close to 60 or 70 million euros, although RB Leipzig's fall in the Champions League may accelerate the departure of the Frenchman, who recently renewed his contract with the release clause of 80 million, but the German club is negotiating, as it did with Dani Olmo. https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/11/12/alexander-arnold-junio-enero-cuadra.html
Media: RM will make a move for a CB, watching/monitoring/considering/following/evaluating X, Y and Z Club: Use Raul Asencio Carlo: Starts Tchouameni when fit
German club is negotiating? Why would Leipzig negotiate to sell a recently renewed player for less than his release clause to a club that is desperate and has two fit 1st team CBs one of whom is Jesus Vallejo? Pity? Empathy? Also in what world would RM pay 60-70m for a CB?

Ilaramendi was the same hype the next Alonso but I guess everuone is better than Tcouameni at this point sign him
I don't think RB will sell in January. They are doing well in Bundesliga. If buyout clause is 80 ME, they might sell for 70 ME in summer. Only 4 CBs in history have cost more than 70 ME and one was Maguire due to English tax. They negotiated for Olmo because there weren't higher offers.
