Hermoso was offered a starting spot at Atletico though wasn’t he and he would have rejected us if he didn’t do it formally, same as with Mayoral for example who was offered a back up player role twice by us under Zidane and Ancelotti and rejected it twice.
With Real Madrid missing a RB due to Carvajal's injury, some sites are claiming that Real will move for Rayo Vallecano's Andrei Ratiu in the winter transfer window. Any substance to that rumour? A. Rațiu Transfer from Rayo Vallecano to Real Madrid - TransferFeed Follow the latest news on the transfer of A. Rațiu from Rayo Vallecano to Real Madrid. www.transferfeed.com "Andrei Ratiu has emerged as a potential transfer target as a result of Dani Carvajal's injury, which might initiate a chain reaction in Real Madrid's transfer plans. It was reported that Rayo Vallecano had turned down offers for Ratiu during the summer, when his transfer value was approximately 10 million euros. However, his current release clause is now set at 25 million euros. Ratiu's outstanding performance in La Liga and with his national team has led to an increase in his market value. Villarreal, which owns 50% of his rights, is keeping a close watch on potential transfer developments."
The drawback as we've already seen a couple of times now with Hazard and Alaba is that the players tend to be on the downslope of their careers by the time these contracts end and we don't get the best version of the player. It's looking like a similar story with Mbappe and both TAA and Davies will have tons of mileage on their legs given that they like to bomb forward at every chance rather than sit back.
I don’t understand how you’re trying to make this comparison with two players who were 30 years old when they arrived to Madrid (Hazard, Alaba) to players that are 25 and under (Mbappe, Trent, Davies). We paid 100 million for Hazard so how does that even apply? Conveniently decided to leave out Rudiger as well.
We were supposed to be getting a good deal on Hazard because it was the last year of his contract. I'm just speaking generally that it could become an issue that we start making these verbal agreements with players to wind down their contracts when their value is high and their performances peak, but years later when the time comes we are in the awkward position of taking the player on even if they have had a drop off.
Another good game from Jeremie Frimpong. Real Madrid need to stop wasting time on TAA IF he cant commit by Winter to sign in the summer. Get Frimpong from Leverkusen. Been asking for this for a while!
Getting Frimpong in January v. getting TAA next summer is a no brainer. And if the club really is short on capital and doesn't want to sign anyone in January for that reason, then getting Frimpong for cheaper in the summer also makes more sense.
Wonder if there's a buyout clause included. RB has done such extensions in the past. 1848782221424890036 is not a valid tweet id
Yeah, that's a fair point. Perhaps some favourable buyout clause for all parties involved, including a team that is interested in purchasing him for a "sensible" fee.
We need defensive help in the winter transfer, but i doubt that Perez will go for anyone or anyone who could contribute would be available.
Lukeba will receive a pay rise with his contract extension but the new contract also includes a release clause that is worth around €90m reports Sky Germany. So he'd be the most expensive defender in history when RB decides to cash in. Vitor Reis more within RM budget. Maybe Hato too if Ajax looks for Timber level fee than Antony.
Reports in Munich is that while the talks were positive and the player and club started getting closer, his agent came back wanting an increase of 3 million Euro on the Bayern offer and a 15 mil. signing bonus. Patience is running out, slowly.
Today was the proof we can’t rely on Lucas and Mendy anymore. It was the same vs Dortmund. Flo must sign new players in January. RB and LB
